Ran my first 10K today; not competitively, just around town for exercise. 1. I now use two different face sunscreens, one for my beard and one for my face. 2. The Magna electrolyte apple juice mix seems to stain but tastes good. 3. Can't wait for not summer. #RunningJournal

i am working on a very, very long blog post that could really have fit into a skeet: When someone posts that "this website/journal article/etc proves my dramatic claim!!!" and then does not link to the website, journal article, etc, it is because it does not in fact prove their dramatic claim.

Watching the first Women's Pro Baseball League game, LA vs NY. But the game is actually in Illinois and it's pouring rain. You'd think tarps, but their schedule is so tight I can't imagine they have the ability to make up games. So, we get chaos. Fun for LA fans though.

I've heard gatefold vinyl records are the most annoying to deal with when a 20 year old cat pees on them so we should instead release albums in regular sleeves. Just something I've heard people say.

In what feels like a bittersweet experience, I'm playing the new expansion for Doom The Dark Ages and it's really excellent. However, I realized that I had Adobe Premiere running while playing - Doom didn't care. Running full out with max settings + path tracing without a skip. That's id.
