I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

You frowned upon China for protecting itself from western big tech, when it is clearly the only viable way to protect sovereignty in the digital era. Plz, friends from the US and Europe, reflect on whether you aren't ALSO being alienated by imperialist propaganda.

Sunday’s election will determine Brazil's, L. America's & the Amazon rainforest's fate. In a sane world, the world would have united against Trump's & Zuckerberg’s escalating efforts to bring Bolsonaro back to power. This world looks the other way. progressive.international/wire/2026-10...

day #3870 of telling people who don't feel confident GMing games in a given genre that they need to go slam some inspirational media and develop more genre familiarity

I'm so fucking tired

the brazil thing is so depressing because they did the right thing, man they did what we couldn’t, they actually prosecuted their coup and threw bolsonaro’s ass in jail and generally showed the united states what a functional state looks like and now they are gonna elect his dipshit son? really?

I never can remember if we’re socialist, Marxist, or communist. I guess today we’re Marxist.

Cool review incoming! As a side note: Soon after releasing the first version of the game I started a short write-up about the choice of using voweless titles, but I lost the file to a corrupted HD :/

This game has something against vowels, but it is still an absolute blast. If you wanna storm and rage against Arasaka, but always thought the Cyberpunk rulebook is too thick and your group would be challenged by that system, this one might be just right for you! Quick and easy, 20 minute adventure!

the big AI danger is not companies suddenly inventing skynet - that's marketing rubbish, musk promising mars colonies by 2030 type stuff. the danger is companies claiming to have invented skynet and then putting what they actually have, a chatbot, in charge of stuff that's important

In a game of CBR+PNK, I had the corpo sponsor of the player's Racing team threaten to kill a player's rich father if they don't throw the race. This led to a hilariously convoluted plan to bypass the deal and then they said "plus if they kill my dad, I'm getting that insurance policy" Amazing

A moment of petrifying clarity. Being a working creative isn't about exorcising your demons. It's making your demons pay rent.

The way profit maxxing corpo culture has invaded every form of art through algorithms pushing people into daily posting is really weighing on me lately. Efficiency and regularity of making "content" being prized above all else feels so grim, man.

Hell Clock is inspired by one of the most famous brazillian conflicts, dating back the 19th century. It's really cool to see OUR history inspire videogames for a change :)

If you enjoy adventure and bold/cautious protagonist duos, do yourself a favor and check out the Delilah Dirk series!

Exactly twenty years after I drew the very first sketches of a character called "Delilah Dirk," PRACTICAL DEFENCE AGAINST PIRACY — the newest book in the series — has won a Will Eisner Award, in the Best Digital Comic category. It's a dream come true. 🏆 www.tonycliff.ca/blog/practic...

TTRPG community, I could use your help sharing my newest project! 🎲 I'm an indie designer from Mexico and I just released a lo-fi horror RPG where you physically stack a dice tower to uncover clues. When gravity takes over and the tower falls, the horror begins. Link below! ⬇️
