I'm a commie and a big part of it is being able to learn from historical data. All I said is that no one has ever voted fascists away. Brazilians' newfound ability to organize is a way bigger deal than the election itself because well coordinated popular movements have defeated fascists before.

A wrong lesson to take from the Brazilian elections is that voting can defeat fascism. That's not true at all. Democracy is an incredibly frail system and the US almost took over the country through it. ORGANIZED PEOPLE DEFEATED FASCISM

Especially if you are American, voting alone won't save you. You don't have a left wing party. The Democrats are making anti trans ads. Erika Hilton, a black trans woman, is the most voted congresswoman in Brazil and this is a video of Lula kissing her on the cheek.

"Specialists" are gonna focus on how we fought the algorithm, but a huge part of it was actually about people being on the streets educating others and changing their opinions. News media refused to tell people about the crimes and intentions of the bolsonaro family, so we did that ourselves.
