"So Mike, what did you think of Blumhouse's Danganronpa Trigger Happy Havoc?"

Do you people realize how humiliating it is for me that my failed “3-course meal” chewing gum experiment got turned into a sexual fetish? Why couldn’t you have gotten horny for everlasting gobstoppers or my cool ass flying elevator? Why do you hyper-fixate on my failures? Fuck you.

WRT to the last repost, a lot of time was spent over the last 10 years like "DONT DO STUFF FOR FREE, CHARGE FOR YOUR LABOR" and that never sat well with me. I think there is a lesson in that your skills have value, but hooking people up is this pro-social thing that seems even more important with AI

Yozora is such an insanely good fight because I legitimately didn't even enjoy my time fighting him, got burnt out, and took to long of a break and never actually beat him, but I still look at that fight and go "oh yeah no that's like one of the best boss fights ever made"

The cdi zelda games have a larger and imo more meaningful cultural footprint than like, a good chunk of actual mainline zelda games and i genuinely think that is beautiful

the fact that AI generated content can't be copyrighted and a Steam AI disclosure is a huge red flag for most games I think is probably really good for the industry cuz I (perhaps naively) think companies like Capcom probably value their brands too much to take either of those risks

this is completely unrelated but there's a very real possibility the first game in the RE-X Engine is gonna be Resident Evil X (10) and that's really funny since they keep insisting the RE acronym is a coincidence

this game rocks on Switch with split-screen co-op and gyro aim. It's like God Hand with guns and a more unintelligible plot it's awesome

'Resident Evil 6' released on this day in 2012. The black sheep of the classic survival horror franchise, wherein the horror elements were prioritized at a cool third behind "constant explosions" and "co-op hijinks." Ridiculous action set pieces combine with over-long campaigns.

where RE6 really falls apart is that the levels are too damn long because the actual gameplay is top notch, probably the most fun game in the series to play IMO. Mercenaries is where it really shines but I think Sherry and Chris's campaigns are really good too.
