Captain Flanger

Hi! My name is Captain Flanger. If you're into #cosplay #photography, then you came to a right place! I've been doing photography works since August 2022. Feel free to interact with me - don't hesitate! You can check out my previous works via my Instagram: www.instagram.com/captainflang...

"Stockpiling was illegal during the war..." One of the weakest (and, for some reasone, most repeated) arguments against taking basic steps to prepare for a short disruption, like losing power for a couple of days. Keeping a wind up torch and some bottled water is not "stockpiling" ffs.

In case it still needs saying, the tech-bros do not believe in "free speech". They believe in "power": power to lift themselves above any limits on or consequences for their own speech, and power to determine what speech can be seen or heard by others.

"Let's dismantle international law altogether" does not strike me as a promising avenue for a mainstream political party on the left. It works well for the hard right; do you want to help their campaign?

How do you even survive as an indie in the current landscape? This is insane.

The UpDate: A safety button that didn’t do anything. Newly unsealed claims in New York’s lawsuit allege TikTok gave thousands of users, including kids and teens, a fake “Algo Refresh” safety tool in an experiment. TikTok denies it. #UpScrolled #TheUpDate #Scrolldifferently

The UpDate: The Facebook whistleblower is back, and this time it’s about AI. Frances Haugen, whose leaks inspired the new film “The Social Reckoning”, says Zuckerberg is “playing with fire” on AI. She’s been warning about Meta for years. #UpScrolled #TheUpDate

Character.AI just filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Didn't see that coming! Mmm, the consequences of licking private equities' boots. #CharacterAI #Bankrupt #Fail #PrivateEquity #Capitalism

If striking Yandex data centers get rid of Russian troll bots, why don't we strike Google or Bing data centers to get rid of American bots? Game is game, y'know?

The hell does 'wealth tax ban' mean? Letting the rich get away with taxes? If that's the case, I hope it never passes. Tax the rich!

Just resigned from the @greenparty.org.uk . A pity, they could have been a force to make a serious challenge on Labour’s left. As it is, they’ve actually made it harder to defeat Israeli ethnonationalism. ime, of course. Don’t @ me

Green Party isn't so green anymore

Going to piss off everyone I do not believe any ethnostate of any kind should exist. AND Much of the driving motivation behind this specific motion is in fact rooted in antisemitism. Lots of the people involved here are not acting in good faith. The horrible situation will be damaging to Greens.

The UPdate: X now shows when governments limit your posts. The expanded "Under the Hood" tool names the country and posts affected when local laws reduce visibility, aiming to counter shadowban claims. #UpScrolled #TheUPdate

Fuck you, Discord.

somehow they keep hitting new lows of professionalism, I fucking hate this company so much

discord casually admitting they know that nobody wanted the age verification implemented and trying to be funny about it is seriously something that the pr team should reflect on and really study when they lose a lot of nitro subs in this next week

The UPdate: OpenAI admits its models keep acting deceptively. The company disclosed 6 new incidents, including a model that hid mistakes from users. It's rolling out public reporting on this going forward. #UpScrolled #TheUPdate

LMAO, so Twitter has this limit where only free users are only able to post 50 posts a day, and that includes retweets as well? That place is cooked as fuck.

I'm not surprised if some of the negative social media comments were from: - bot farms (obviously) - basement dwellers - uninformed, "neutral", "source from Fox News" weirdos - Mossad 8200 fat fucks - Some forum website users Stay safe out there, folks.

There have been a huge number of reports of Israeli tourists and residents behaving really badly. That sort of thing really rankles in Thailand, possibly in part because a lot of people would really prefer tourism not to be such a big part of the economy. Russians have a really bad name too.

Shame on you, Ed Sheeran, for complicit in genocide.

And yet, China provides a far more stable economic and diplomatic relationship to the rest of the world than the US.

Each to their own, I can't stand with both DSA and ACP if these two kept clashing with each other, despite being a 'socialist' party. Aren't we socialists supposed to unite, not divide? I don't know. I'm not even American to understand shit about these two.

Here's the thing. I can have an appointment with the Psychiatric Registrar in two weeks. But they require $260 in advance. I don't have it because cost of living. I get the Medicare rebate when I have had the appointment! If you can help it would be super 🥰 www.paypal.me/drmarkba

Because majority (fuckton) of PC users use Steam/Epic, and it makes less sense to use something *that* niche in the first place

Wall Street Journal fooled no one with their recent propaganda. Sorry, but capitalism has to go. Literally.

I personally don't care of neither side of the cytros in Malaysia. If their ideology still aligns with capitalism, you lost me on that one.
