House Judiciary Democrats have just released a 50-page report that pulls together years of assault allegations against Trump and his reported connections to Jeffrey Epstein. The report calls for a special counsel to investigate Trump's ties to Epstein.

Christian nationalist Mike Johnson falsely smears the “other side” as “Marxists.” This is one asymmetry that deserves a lot more of a response: Extremist Rs are constantly smearing Ds as extremists while there is little focus on the very real extremism of the Rs.

Q: Why do you think Americans tell us over & over they don't like the direction of the country? MIKE JOHNSON: Look, it's a hostile media environment. Most of the mainstream media of course is advancing the false narrative of the other side -- the Democrats & the Marxists. They're on the other team

🔥 OBAMA: “The thing is, Iran didn’t have nuclear weapons — because I put a deal in place he pulled out of… and the war he started is why the price of everything is UP… how much time do you think Hegseth spends looking at himself in the mirror? These are not serious people.”

i really do think that a successful impeachment and removal of hegseth is a live possibility if dems win the senate. he is a genuine disaster.

Man, Hegseth's Department of War is even more buffoonish than everything else. Kinda amazed how the US military didn't just have some basic war plans they could activate. Their lack of preparedness is astonishing. meidasnews.com/news/so-much...

The BBC is doing something important, refusing to be intimidated by a powerful person trying to use the legal system to punish criticism and discourage scrutiny. They’re schooling the American press on what the 1st Amendment means. Read about it here: joycevance.substack.com/p/the-bbc-st...

Democrats aren’t cocky - we are bedwetting like usual. But we have reason to feel good judging by the moves of Republicans. Take the sick Vivek Ramaswamy ad targeting Amy Acton using her estranged mother. Or Paxton weaving lies about Talarico because his attacks aren’t working. They’re desperate.

Ethically these positions, Kelly on the Cornell rape, are beyond just bad. They are morally corrupt. No one should ever be interested in their opinions again.

if these are the rules now then i expect democrats to play by them when they next have power. my expectation is for either safeguards to be put in place to keep this from happening again or for dems to bring fox news and fascist media to heel using these same tactics

In any other admin, this would probably be the most outrageous official statement ever made by a sitting FCC director: Strongly implying that the government forbids broadcast networks from reporting on the president's falling poll numbers. (Sorry to paste from twitter but that's where he posts.)
