Oh there is more… 56% of Gen Z respondents to a survey said they've had a gravy-related dispute, compared with 17% of over-65s

#Today'sStats GRAVY. We consume an estimated 11m litres of gravy - enough to fill 4 Olympic-sized pools – weekly. RAIN. One inch of rain falling for one hour on the City of London would fill 24-25 Olympic-sized pools. More later as we get it…

oh for god's sake - David, Josh and Pip are all as juvenile as each other. Stella's outburst could have been about any or all of them. And being pathetic does not a drama make. There's a difference drama vs a drama #TheArchers

I don't think it's wrong to not come back from the other side of the world for a wedding especially if you're in a remote area and don't have much money. Am I a monster? #TheArchers

I don't get how Anthropic can give these dire warnings about inadequate safety controls (worms in your smart TV and smart fridge) and yet continue to develop AI. If it's so bad, just stop with it then

This is confusing: this woman on #R4 #InsideHealth is talking about food in a national emergency. Fridges don't work (no electricity) but microwaveable rice is on the menu. 🤔

Travelled to Bristol for the weekend for £8.50 return. (National Express) It takes two hours from Hammersmith stop. The train takes around one and a half to one and three-quarter hours from Padd and costs a lot more than that, even if you book 'Advance Singles' on specific trains. #publictransport

I had a good experience, but I did go first thing. I accepted having limited time to look at it as the price you pay for hundreds of thousands of other people wanting to see it too. The corporate event, though, stopping people with tickets entering – that's another story #BayeuxTapestry #R4Today

I went to the Bayeux Tapestry today ⚔️ 🛡️🤴🏻🐴 They kept us moving in an encouraging yet hilarious way. Like: 'Well done guys that's GREAT shuffling. Thank you so much for keeping it moving. So proactive here with the shuffling. Thank you so much!'

With millions of people listening in!! #TheArchers

See, Grant's rookie error there was to come in to Ambridge from beyond the bypass. One minute he's having a normal Sunday evening. The next, he's been drawn into the vortex of a psychodrama not of his own making #TheArchers

If only he hadn't picked up, he could be sitting on the sofa next to his brother clinking beers and talking about a job well done with the loft insulation #TheArchers

Interesting how telly definitions change in the streaming era. It’s not live television, but essential to watch live! It’s great to have programmes the country watch in unison. Well done #BBC #CelebrityTraitors 📺

Was that a little, barely suppressed snigger from Nick Robinson when he gave the action line info after the men and eating disorders segment? #R4Today

Related: There are an awful lot of 'creative coaches' around who charge their clients for sessions with experts and yet somehow or other can't quite scrape the money together to pay said writers/artists &c for their expertise

Turned down last week: 2 festivals with no budget for speakers 1 writing course with no budget for teachers 1 film project with no budget to option the book - plus they wanted me to write the screenplay. For free. Don't do it, kids. Don't work for free. Because to them, what's free is worthless.

If so some eason you do choose to work for free (for example, for a charity, or to support a small local enterprise), consider sending them an invoice for your usual fee, and mark it void. That way, they'll know the value of what you're giving them.

No mention from the sisters of the guy's conviction for ploughing into a female cyclist on his motorbike and riding off without stopping to check how badly injured she was or to phone for help #R4Today

lol at everyone losing their marbles at Harrison having slept with someone once, last week, and suggesting he’s going to move in with this person he’s slept with once rather than - oh dear, living in the house he pays for #TheArchers

My 1st job was in a WHSmith bookshop in Fife. In the morning I'd collect books from the shop, based on a list produced each day, & pack them in boxes. Then at lunch a lorry would arrive with new books. We'd take the new ones out & put the old ones in. They were the same books. It did affect me, yes.

Frequently amazed at the way people blindly share assets in work settings without actually opening them to see what they're sharing. I've been trying to come up with a phrase for this. The closest I can get is 'communication hygiene'. It only takes a second or two to check

Anna + Keira. A lot of flapping and freaking. Not sure whether I should be putting myself through this. It can't be right to hate fictional characters so much #TheArchers

I enjoy an obscure history programme but I think The Killer wave of 1607: Timewatch - The tsunami that struck Britain's coast might be a bit niche even for me
