Introducing my good friend and Associate Off-Peak.Engineer: Marcel! Here's their story of how we began collaborating together, half-way across the world, to solve a seemingly impossible problem for his wife: Personalized prosthetics for Kenya. www.patreon.com/posts/141218...

For the person that I told I'd message back this weekend: I've forgotten the impetus, and thus forgot about you. It's nothing personal, it's just my ADHD.

Going to bed early and getting a full nights sleep is a real power-play, just as long as you can pull it off without incident. 🤣

Link's Apatite! 🌟💎☢️ While going through my sons rock collection I discovered an ever-so-slightly radioactive uranium-doped apetite mineral.

99.99% of my thoughts are just 🍿for 🧠.

Happy anniversary bae! To celebrate I accidentally let my prescription lapse and then run out, just so we both can relive who we were naturally, remember? Back when we fell in love 😘

Breakfast of champions

Digging up enough worms for a baby Robin is a lot of work! #wormville works works like a charm! He's definitely gonna sleep through the night now!

Colin sunbathes & naps while I work

Hungry baby followed by nap time after breakfast and bath.

Meet Colin: My rescue robin

@katmabu.bsky.social I heard David Hogg was leaving the DNC ultimately due to his involvement with Leaders We Deserve... Are you too going to become a Leader We Deserve?

I remember back when big companies had actual focus.

Somewhere, between 2 computers running different OSes, several monitors, a few different browsers and an irrational number of tabs, there is a youtube video that's on auto-play. Good luck!

@joeltelling.bsky.social has anyone confused you for youtube.com/@aragusea?si... ??? 🤣 To be completely honest, I was a minute into his video before I came to the conclusion that this wasn't a side-channel of yours!

I present the card my 5yo will be giving to the nice neighbor lady tomorrow:

Good Morning! www.youtube.com/shorts/A2VGe...

My friends hubby smashed his finger at work today. I'm gonna send him some tiny 3d printed crutches for his fingers:

While there are still some small aesthetics that I would improve, this build came out very well. My #1 goal was for it to be solid yet serviceable, and I'm very happy with the results:

Homemade castellated vias actually work pretty well! A 4" diamond wheel on the 4" mini mighty harbor freight "table saw" makes quick work of the PCB edge, allowing for surface-mount PCBs

Very happy with the results!

Using a DFRobot PCB with an Adafruit Capacitive Touch Sensor IC to map and detect inputs. Kinda like... www.adafruit.com/product/1982 www.dfrobot.com/product-463....

I designed a modification to the PicoCalc back to support a Pi Debug Probe: www.printables.com/model/125355... #picocalc #raspberrypi #pipico

I've never wanted my very own slime mold more than after I watched this video: youtu.be/3V3CMD_9xXs?...

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

Ridiculously cool! Gordon from @Espruino got open source PebbleOS booting on a BangleJS watch (same chipset nRF52 as Core 2 Duo) www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_U5...

I'm Kat Abughazaleh and I'm running for Congress.

I need a hot glue for software.

I'd like to bring this video to your attention. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hyco... It's doing pretty significant numbers for what it is, so while I understand sharing it won't make a difference for those knee-deep in the cult of personality, I'd say it has a better-than-average chance of resonating.

Figure skating world championships were considered to be for men only until 1902, when Madge Syers showed up and took home silver and the ISU went "whooooops guess we need to segregate them." It happened again in 1992 Olympic skeet shooting: Zhang Shan took gold and then they segregated the event.

Ahhh yes. The NYSE, where all beloved platforms go to die.

Why, oh WHY must "AI" be perversely added to _every_single_product_in_existence_ now? If you want to offer AI, make it a plugin. But please don't just 'integrate it' like it's a necessary component. I _will_ find an alternative.

If I get up early in the morning, then I have to live with myself for the entire day... but if I sleep until noon, well then I only have to put up with a half-day of my bullshit. #life-hacks

Is it just me, or is the "law of leaky abstractions" getting more 'leaky' as tech marches on? (www.joelonsoftware.com/2002/11/11/t...)

Turns out Tidal has 300 songs called "how we do"... I think this will be my playlist for the day. I'm curious how all these people "do".

When that notification dings.... but you can't find what service gone done it. 🫨

I'm sorry, scolding Zelenskyy for not showing the proper "respect" to the office of the President (an office which deserves respect only insomuch as it serves the American people, and thus right now deserves none) is such "divorced dad alienated from his adult children" energy.

Doesn't matter how much you stretch beforehand, performing gymnastics with cURL will always leave you sore afterwards.
