@podsaveamerica.crooked.com what the heck is wrong with you guys and your analysis of Abdul’s answer about condemning the Muslim brotherhood? He explicitly condemned them as well as disarming the question for the future, swiftly making it clear that it’s racist to continually ask

What’s more, Barack Obama DID NOT and WOULD NOT eat shit on these topics. He famously gave a 35 minute, very well regarded speech on religion in relation to the Jeremiah Wright controversy. Additionally, not even his opponent would allow the shit eating in that campaign

as John McCain famously interrupted and corrected guess own supporter when she attempted to attack Obama as some secret Muslim. Everyone involved made clear that he’s not Muslim, though it would be absolutely fine if he was. You guys are alone in left field on this one.

the minority guy to condemn every terrorist group, made it clear that he takes his oath to the constitution seriously, and got the person asking to the question to admit they has no allegiance to the constitution, and got the kid to walk out with his tail between his legs.

The saddest part is that it wasn’t even that mind blowing, he’s just never had anyone actually tell him anything straight.

Susan Collins wants credit for every good thing that’s ever happened to anyone in Maine, but won’t accept blame for anything bad that’s ever happened. This should be a red flag in any job interview.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Troy Jackson: "Sen. Collins says that she voted against it 9 times, but she didn't have the votes. Well, that sounds like then we probably ought to have Democrats in charge of the Senate so we have the votes to stop this war and hold Donald Trump in check. It sounds like Republicans won't do that."

Everyone isn’t properly reflecting on what a farce this entire movement has been: He claimed he was so rich he’d fund his own campaign and couldn’t be bought. Now he’s using our tax dollars to fund his campaigns, and no business can be done without first giving him or one of his henchman $$$.

More confirmation that the US is a police state.

He claimed investigations into him and derided the “deep state.” He now openly has his enemies investigated, arrested, and prosecuted, and explains it is specifically because of their opposition to him.

This was all obvious from the start. His followers weren’t fooled, they were in on the con. They never cared about her emails, or prosecutions that might appear political, or corruption, or free speech. They’re all a bunch of fascists and always were.

I absolutely love that final answer. This really makes him a fantastic representative, even if it makes him a relatively bad politician: One should be going into public office to materially improve the lives of the populace, not advance their own career.

Me: "Are you a victim of your own success? Wouldn't you be better off if Keir Starmer were still prime minister? Zack Polanski: "No one would be better off if Keir Starmer were still prime minister." Watch Zeteo UK's interview with the Green Party leader at our live event: zeteo.uk/p/zack-polan...

A truly great representative would even be willing to sacrifice their own career if it helped the people they represent. I believe Polanski is one such representative.

“This gives me hope, that someday we can all just go about our day and completely ignore whatever genocide our tax dollars happen to be funding that day. This is truly beautiful! Thank you for your apathy and narcissism!”

As an American political historian, I can confirm that this Congress has been "almost unmatched in history" in several categories -- sad abdication of its war powers, craven surrender of the power of the purse, weird refusal to conduct meaningful oversight, and an utter failure to pass actual laws.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Mike Johnson claims that the current Congress is "probably in the top three or four of all time" and is "almost unmatched in history" 🙃

@barbmcquade.bsky.social where was this court’s unitary executive theory during the Biden administration? Why was every tiny executive change to the student loan program or the epa seen as a newly invented “major question” and, but Trump completely dismantling agencies

And reappropriating tens of billions of dollars to his whims all gets swept up with “unitary executive theory”? Seems the theory is heavily linked to which party is in charge of the executive branch, and whether the decisions they’re making fit within conservative ideology.

Piers Morgan “Mohammed, do you condemn the Hamas attacks on October the 7th?” Mohammed Hijab “Yes, I do. Do you condemn Israel killing over 1000 kids?” Piers Morgan “I believe Israel has a right to defend themselves” That answer should be on the tombstone of his career.

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train. But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK. Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.

1/ Cuba is out of fuel, strangled by the US fuel chokehold. People are dying, systems are breaking down. This is collective punishment against a people who have done absolutely nothing except live their lives under hard conditions imposed by the US blockade for decades.

Bill Cassidy thought he could have it both ways: his own opinions and the support of the MAGA cult. Tonight, he became the first incumbent U.S. senator in 12 years to lose his primary. There is no reasoning with the cult. Ever

So-called physician Bill Cassidy who literally abandoned all modern medicine and scientific principles to help deranged chaos agent RFK Jr seize control of US Health has officially lost his primary coming in 3rd place. Good riddance asshole.
