The Greatest Forms of Potato mini zine by the indefatigable Sarah Hingley (@sazzsquatch on Instagram) a big hit with the birthday girl, thank you ✨ 🥔 ✨ (I love the little guy on the envelope!) #bookmail #zines

Such a joy to get to do the cover art for Saros SF #7 ed. K. Thompson, I adore all the stories and the theme “Terminally Online.” 🔥 💻 📱 I even got to write about my current favourite parasite/isopod/metaphor cymothoa exigua! 💛 👅 🐟

Seeking recommendations for Book Riot, my lovelies: What are some Native and Indigenous SFF that you're excited about releasing this year? SFF that leans horror is totally fine as well. Links appreciated!

Writing is an incredible way to share our most intimate thoughts, fears, and desires. No clanker could ever hope to replicate it, and it's pathetic that there's a whole industry built around attempting to produce sad little copies of real stories with real emotions and experience behind them.

At acting class a few weeks ago, someone asked me what I would do if I won a million pounds; would I give up my job? I said no. Every day, I write books or teach people how to write books (or both). It's the best job in the world and I'm so privileged and lucky to do it, despite hardships.

Great night last night at Spooky Stories at Gang Gang cafe with MC Ben O'Mara, writers Chelsea Fritzlaff, S.R. Underschultz, poet Imogen Wall, John Lombard and guitarist Connor Whyte! Love the cover of Lost Souls 04, can't wait to read 👀 📚 👻 🖤

This sounds amazing 👀 📚

Looks like the vibes are strong with this one! TATRATEA, my weird-eco-gothic-horror-cosmic-SF-post-apocalyptic fever dream of a book is out today, and readers seem to be getting out of it exactly what I was hoping for and more. Thank you for listening. We're all on this one way trip together🌱

I am loving all the responses to this! Terry Gilliam wanted all the actors to have period-accurate (crooked, stained etc) teeth in The Brothers Grimm (2005) but the powers that be wouldn’t let him :-( Immense respect for trying though! 🦷

We all know the "Viggo broke his toe" story but what's another movie fact you're personally compelled to bring up every time without prompting? For me, it's the fact that Robin Tunney is wearing a wig in The Craft because of having just shaved her head to save her job filming Empire Records.

The air is chilly, skeletons are dancing, and I'm growing increasingly paranoid about cannibals, occultists, and pod people. That can mean only one thing, October is here. The latest issue of CHM has been out for a minute now, any favorite stories? zurl.co/qmxmJ
