I was in Tel Aviv when Iran attacked Israel with ballistic missiles - one of the most harrowing moments of my life. Trump is an idiot and no one - NO ONE - should ever trust him.

Trump endorses Iran having ballistic missiles: "I'm saying that if other countries have them, it's a little unfair for them not to have some"

Why Vince Lombardi's Legacy Matters During Pride Month #Packers #GoPackGo

dlvr.itWhy Vince Lombardi's Legacy Matters During Pride MonthEvery June, as Pride Month arrives, it’s worth remembering that Vince Lombardi’s legacy extends far beyond championships, trophies and football history. For Packers fans, Lombardi is the iconic figure who transformed Green Bay into the standard by which every NFL franchise is measured. His name is forever attached to the Super Bowl trophy, and his teams remain synonymous with excellence. But one of Lombardi’s most important contributions had nothing to do with wins and losses. At a time when prejudice and discrimination were deeply ingrained in American society, Lombardi demanded something different from the people around him. When he arrived in Green Bay, Black players often faced racism both locally and throughout the league. Lombardi refused to tolerate it. He established a clear standard: any business that discriminated against his players would lose the support of the Packers organization. He stood up for his players publicly and privately, helping create an environment where talent and character mattered more than race. His commitment to inclusion extended beyond racial equality. Influenced in part by his close relationship with his younger brother Harold, who was gay, Lombardi was known for taking an uncompromising stance against homophobia. Former players recalled that he would not tolerate slurs, harassment or discrimination within his locker room. One of the most famous stories attributed to Lombardi involves his warning that anyone questioning a player's manhood because of his sexuality would be gone immediately. That position was remarkably progressive for the 1960s, particularly in professional sports, where such topics were rarely discussed openly. Lombardi wasn’t perfect, and like any historical figure he should be viewed in the context of his era. Decades later, however, it is his willingness to challenge prejudice when many others remained silent that endures and remains a timeless example of leadership. Trump on Iran War: Reporter: What extent are Americans’ financial situation motivating you to make a deal? Trump: Not even a little bit. I don't think about Americans’ financial situation

Can’t wait to support the winner of the Democratic primary with support, money and praise. I don’t wanna hear any sour grapes about this contest! Both candidates are fine people and will make outstanding senators.

Ron Filipkowski@ronfilipkowski.bsky.social

I am going to enthusiastically support whichever Democrat wins the US Senate primary in Texas and hope for the sake of the country that all Democrats do the same.

Minneapolis protester as he's being brutalized by feds: "You're gonna have to kill me! You're gonna have to kill me! I've done nothing wrong! My name is Matthew James! I'm a US citizen! You're gonna kill me! Is that what you want?" (You can hear his wife screaming)

With just 6 days until World AIDS Day, the federal government has abruptly withdrawn its support. To the 1.1 million Americans living with HIV and the grieving friends and family of the 700,000 Americans who died, I am so very sorry. The cruelty of this administration has no bounds. #WorldAIDSDay

It has been my life’s work to find justice for all crime victims no matter their age, gender, race, social class, nationality or sexual orientation. The victims of Epstein deserve justice no matter who gets implicated in the crimes or the coverup. Let the truth speak freely so justice can be done.

As a cold case homicide investigator, I have to study all sorts of new subject matter that can lead to unusual clues in my cases. This week? How to keep koi alive and maintain a healthy koi pond or water garden. (No, I have no interest or intention of EVER building a koi pond in my backyard!)

What do I love about my work in cold case homicide investigations? I become an expert in new subject matter such as 1980’s gay porn, late 1800’s downtown LA real estate, Vietnam War veterans in the 1970’s and the legacy of sexual abuse by the Catholic clergy. Every case is its own movie! #TrueCrime

Watching the #Packers game from a devastated Los Angeles. Outside the legendary Packer bar, Mom’s, there is a line of firetrucks and emergency equipment. Fans are gathered to watch our beloved team, share stories of survival and heartbreak, drink beer and eat some brats. #GoPackGo #PalisadesFire

I encourage you to read this account of a citizen patriot who secretly infiltrated a militia group. It’s a riveting account of the threats our nation faces from violent extremists partnering with law enforcement officials and elected officials.

Josh Kaplan@josh-kaplan.bsky.social

The infiltrator’s name is John Williams. To learn what he revealed about the paramilitary movement — and how a mole managed to become a senior leader in a major American militia — read the full story here: www.propublica.org/article/ap3-...

Packers are getting outplayed. Even worse, they’re being out coached. Give Kevin O’Connell the coach of the year award. Vikings look playoff ready. Packers not so much. So sad. #GoPackGo
