When looking at the history of the death penalty. It has been mainly used as a political tool, and not as anything to actually off those that are actually harmful to society. And with the US’s already high false incarceration rate, the death penalty seems like a messed up system to make space.

This is the one headline that gives me any semblance of hope for my generation being fucking awesome.

As much as I hate to say this, I’ve lost a good amount of respect for NASA, as they have actively worked into corporatizing space travel/exploration. SpaceX as a corporate entity has no right to exist as they could just have transferred employees to NASA positions (especially those in engineering).

The incompetence of the current administration is astounding. They have an agenda, but their agenda is ultimately flawed in execution. Cruel and incompetent is a combo that usually doesn’t combine well. This may possibly end in a constitutional crisis, as I am certain they have no idea how it works.
