#PretendPanel Sep 4th - Eh... if I hear anything, it's most likely to be dialogue. If not that, then possibly specific items in the background (train whistle, clock chiming on the hour, etc.) Almost never background noise like chattering in a cafe or cicadas (and other bugs).

There will be people who love your writing. People who re-read your words. Others who dislike your words. Some who don't connect with the ideas you write, the characters you create. Loudly. Quietly. And it's okay if your writing is not everyone's cuppa. Do your best & write for yourself first.
