Maybe folk who go "why are you crusading against this thing when there are Real Problems" are onto something. Everyone in the world should abandon all other issues to find the absolute worst problem and focus on that alone until it is gone, then simply move down the list. It is easy to fix the world

imo as someone who lived through their releases and saw them all in theaters, weren't abt movie quality and more to do with marketing decisions. Teenagers, particularly teen boys, were not watching Disney Channel where most Disney marketing took place. And none of them were marketed sufficiently.

Titan A.E., Atlantis: The Lost Empire and Treasure Planet all coming out in the same 3 year span and all three being box office disappointments independently of the quality of the movies is just real fascinating to me.
