As Chair of @conference.libdems.org.uk I know there’s many things to improve, and it must remain at heart of @libdems.org.uk party democracy. But I am proud: We publish our agenda & amendments (even with my typos) Our debates are open to all conference attendees & publicly live streamed

Of course just because FEDERAL conference is over doesn't mean there's not a bunch of regional and state ones to look forward to...

🔶 We've been at #LDConf this week, representing the small business community. ✅ Pleased to have had productive discussions about the some of most pressing issues facing small businesses, including how to help our high streets thrive, community banking and how to get growth.

The traditional end to #LDconf (for me at least): slipping the leader's speech and going to the pub

Whether you live or run a business in a village or market town, access to banking and cash close to home is vital 💷 It was great to meet up with LINK at #ldconf today to keep pushing for that access all across North Norfolk.

The motion calling for a rethink of equality law so that everyone can live in dignity and safety matters deeply to all liberals. While trans people are most profoundly affected most of us know the dangers of standing by while marginalised peoole are picked on by the state and the media. #ldconf

Hadn't realised how stupid the NHS dentistry situation is. Nearly 4x qualified - many highly qualified - available dentists as vacancies... but can't fill them as they're not from the UK. Madness. And certain other parties policies will be even more damaging to health & social care. 🫩 #LDConf
