We all want to know what to do, but none of us is willing to accept the answer to "What is left that we can do?". So... Following is what to do to prepare for this LITERALLY becoming the 4th Reich. This is dark to contemplate, but it's historically accurate resistance tactics for the worst case.

I don't think we are prepared. This is going to go really sideways, because the people are going to know better than to believe what they are going to be told occurred.

Cre8Fire@cre8fire.bsky.social

Are you prepared for when the election results don't match the reality on the ground? Y'all act like we have some way to verify results. We don't. Plan accordingly. I predict they'll make it look close. You will be told it was "closer than expected" and "not a complete win" for either side.

So did y'all notice how we got evidence of all sorts of treasonous things and no consequences happened? Slush funds Starshield shutdown Russian funding of energy projects etc, etc, etc... And yet - crickets. Evidence is not the problem. Enforcement is. Until we fix that, it will continue.

Those who complain about the effects of propaganda while simultaneously denying the effectiveness of it and also blaming the victims of effective propaganda are the most counterproductive people I know. Calling someone stupid for being propagandized makes the propaganda more effective.

Really glad there is evidence of this now, but evidence is not the problem - enforcement is. Something is missing from all these stories about the Nazis that rule us - CONSEQUENCES.

I am so sick of people who think their favorite pet issue is important enough to form circular firing squads that hurt our chances of REMOVING A FASCIST. Grow the fuck up.

Our world is suffering from a lack of honorable men who are willing to make the tough, risky decisions needed to deal with the tyranny of evil men. There will soon come a time when the risks of inaction outweigh the risk of action. We can only hope that will not be too late for success.

We’re not talking nearly enough about the sitting president of the United States sending our troops to die in a war while aligning our country with the dictator helping to kill them.

The reason so much is happening right now in respect to world affairs and specially Trump assisting Russia dramatically is that this is their last chance. Make sure their fears come true. Vote. If they try to steal it - we protest. If they try to suppress that protest - we storm the gates.

Glad to see the biggest accounts starting to say this. But understand that we do not control enforcement of laws in this country. They captured enforcement first.

God@thegodshow.com

Trump shouldn’t just be impeached, he must be arrested for treason. The Supreme Court already gave him a get-out-of-jail free card AND he said he will pardon himself. It matters not. These people are war criminals and cannot be allowed to escape justice.

There comes a point where the ruling class needs to understand that when we the people come for those who have abused their power, going to jail is going to be their safest option, not their worst-case scenario. Absent that understanding, they will attempt to maintain their rule.

Actions taken that specifically give aid and comfort to a declared enemy of the United States is treason. That we are so far away from any consequences for that action should disturb every American. Evidence is not the problem. Enforcement is.

Hit 'em again, Ukraine.

General Keith Kellogg: “I would burn down every one of the goddamn refineries that Russia has today. Take them all out. It’s a military target.” It is the fastest way to end this war, because it is the fastest way to deprive Russia from the means to wage it.

You are smart enough for a dumb coffee pot. You don't need an app for your locks. You don't need smartbulbs, manual switches work fine. You don't need an in-fridge TV. You can preheat your oven with a knob. Your microwave has buttons that work fine. Internet connected toasters are stupid.

Am I a luddite? No, it's all "cool new tech", but it's also an easy target to take over as a hacker, and botnets are annoying. They aren't secure - they are made with cheap, often easily hackable hardware and software, because to secure them well would make the device cost more. Starve the beast.

Hitting Russian data centers and knocking a huge chunk of the bots out of the arena is a tactic I didn't see coming, but I am here for it. Nice shot, Ukraine. Keep up the good work.

Total chaos in Russian cities after Ukraine's strikes on just two Yandex data centers wipes out GPS, payment systems, taxi apps and the largest websites, across the country. Russia's centralized North Korean style internet is the country's weakness, they are fucked.

A president who supports a dictator over the right of a people to fight for their freedom is a traitor, not only to the United States, but to the very founding principles of these United States. Act accordingly.

I'm an independent. Democrats piss me off all the time by tacking to the center when they often don't need to, but they're getting my vote over fascists every time. Fight to make them better in the primaries, and make sure they win in the general. Fight the enemy, not your allies.

conifergirl.bsky.social@conifergirl.bsky.social

Single-issue voters are self-defeating. Seriously - handle your issue in the primaries, and stop attacking your own side after them. If you want to clean house of all the problematic people in the better of the two parties, GOOD! But do it before they are the best hope we've got to stop madmen.

We HAVE to stop falling into psychological traps they set. This was DESIGNED to be taken badly, but gives an obvious "taken out of context" excuse. The POINT was to give something to be outraged about on the left and to give their people something they can defend. That defense solidifies support.

If some newly created PAC isn't running "Paxton backstabs Trump" ads in Texas, it is a missed opportunity. Those who still support him ARE the Trumpers. I don't think he gains back anyone he's already lost by blaming Trump.

I wonder if the billionaires have figured out that their time is nearly over? Historically, public sentiment like we have now typically does not end well for them.

A lie does not become truth because millions believe it. Wrong does not become right because the majority accepts it. And evil does not become good because enough people choose to look the other way. The masses can make evil normal. It can never make it right.

Folks need to be told that things are going to get WORSE after the midterms, not better. Otherwise, we'll have no umbrella for the shitstorm of propaganda saying its "our fault". Diesel keeps rising. The damage is locked in and we have to weather it. The worst (R) policies hit after the midterms.

Those who assume that the midterms are going to be a normal election where the outcome is clear and there is not a concerted effort by Republicans to create chaos need to rapidly and completely be disavowed of that assumption. They won't accept defeat well. This one is going to get sideways.

Our task: As good as things look right now, no one - and I mean no one - needs to be taking their foot off the gas until the election is over. They are going to try some nonsense, they are desperate. We need to bring guns to a knife fight for once, and not assume anything, not put up with anything.

Information isolation. They are seeking to control where their cult gets their information, so that cult members have a path to call everything else fake. That it is an attack on the "free press" is exactly the point. The addition of Border Hawk News. The "app". Etc. Information isolation.

Things have gone the way they have not because bad people have done bad things - that is always the case. The problem we have is good people who waited too long to act in response to bad people.

The "Failure to Read the Room" award of the month goes to Ed Sheeran and Pink. I would consider trying a real mea culpa before you totally suicide your careers, but it may already be too late. Damn shame - both are talented and damn well should have known better, I would have thought.

1/2 Umar Kremlev, the Putin-linked oligarch who reportedly bankrolled hundreds of thousands of dollars of Donald Trump Jr.’s wedding celebrations, is heavily involved with Healthy Fatherland, sanctioned by Ukraine over its alleged role in abducting Ukrainian children.

Until the right wing started talking about him, I had no idea who Hasan Piker was. Tells you something about the power their propaganda apparatus still possesses - even as reality is disproving their ideology works. Do not underestimate propaganda. It works. The antidote is to point it out.

Are you prepared for when the election results don't match the reality on the ground? Y'all act like we have some way to verify results. We don't. Plan accordingly. I predict they'll make it look close. You will be told it was "closer than expected" and "not a complete win" for either side.

I should not have to repeat this, but: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS REPUBLICANS WHO "REFUSED TO CONSTRAIN TRUMP". They were NEVER considering constraining him in the first place. They are not outsiders - they are enablers - always have been. They didn't "allow", they HELPED. Stop giving them outs.

"Why does nothing happen?" Because they captured enforcement first. Yes, we have plenty of evidence to convict. Evidence is not the problem, and hasn't been the problem for over a decade now. Enforcement is the problem. WE. DO. NOT. CURRENTLY. CONTROL. ENFORCEMENT. OF. U.S.. LAW.!!!

"Did that story just go away?" No, everyone moved on because it still didn't bring any actual consequences and we want something that does. Evidence is NOT the problem. Enforcement IS.

It doesn't "raise legal questions". There's no question of "Can Trump Pay Each American Adult $5000 Legally?" It's not a "dubious pledge". It isn't just "may not be possible legally". It's not a "creative and rule breaking proposal". IT'S ILLEGAL - and another FELONY. Media - REPORT THAT.

See? No enforcement. That's about as blatantly illegal as it gets, and... crickets. Those of you who believe the rule of law applies to this administration need to start coming up with enforcement mechanisms quick, because as it stands, they are above the law, and legal remedies for that are few.
