if i was your unborn child and you were proclaiming my gender/sex in advance without my input, you would be doing me immense harm and setting me up for so much NEEDLESS PREVENTABLE trauma about being forced to perform a gender that i never actually was. wish parents would stop that shit.

if you are a person who considers yourself empathetic and compassionate and understanding of others, supportive of trans people and so on... you can't *actually* live those values while still participating in all the same shit that has been hurting trans people all along, you gotta make some changes

like if ur kid happens to be cis, then not pushing a specific gender on them and just letting them speak for themselves whenever they're able to does precisely 0 harm to them but if they happen to come out trans and you did* project/assign a gender to them, then ur nearly guaranteed to harm ur kid.

i think i'd smoke a whole vape that morning, and 1 weed and then I'd grab my gun and take a shower and make breakfast and then start boobytrapping my house and planning the parts i would need for a fully articulating robotic body double of myself to live in my home while i sneak off to a safe house
