I keep discarding posts because I just can't word how hopeless everything outside of my personal life feels right now. just constantly waking up every morning to more and more bad news about the world and my hobbies seemingly becoming destroyed and meaningless. it's exhausting.

anyway i put down fire emblem to focus on control because i knew it was going to be a shorter game but i'm really happy to be able to put all my focus into fire emblem now

i finished control resonant. i enjoyed it overall but man the combat got really repetitive. i have a pretty high tolerance of simple combat but i was really starting to dread it by the halfway point and my ps5 says i played it for 47 hours so thats a lot of time i didn't want to fight.

the side quests are where the game shines and the visuals are cool. i always love reading the documents that you can find. but i definitely prefer the first control over resonant and alan wake 2 is better than the control games imo
