Didn’t think this was a hot take but I don’t think BioWare made a game even remotely bad enough to “justify” it being shut down “BioWare was struggling for years,” yeah, and even its worst games weren’t as bad as some garbage that’s let slide and it’s fucking weird to imply the team “deserved” this.

Just to get ahead of it: Veilguard was genuinely great. An expansion/dlc would've made it a top 2 Dragon Age game, but everyone was fired immediately after it launched.

To me, Dragon Age Veilguard will always be a tenacious and defiant story about a team who, despite the odds and the sabotage from above, did their damnedest to deliver their best on a special journey fueled by spiteful hope and willingness to prove themselves. Dragon Age was always the underdog.

I am now a single issue voter: My vote goes to the candidate who promises that an hour after they are inaugurated, they will personally drive the bulldozer (or whatever) that takes the first whack at tearing down that ballroom.
