My cousin has a new baby girl and I painted her little tiny feet and it’s just the cutest thing ever. Those are her mama’s feet in the background.

This painting was juried into the California Watercolor Association Exhibit ‘August Interlude’ and will be on display at The Den & Gallery 3561 A Mt. Diablo in Lafayette, CA from August 5 through September 30. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

We had a couple thousand people show up in Healdsburg CA which is amazing in a town of 11k. almost 100% of the signs were hand made.

I met a lady with an infant at dry creek general store. I offered to paint the baby’s feet, to trade a study for photos. She agreed and sent me the BEST pictures. Here is the watercolor study I sent her (15x11). Pretty pleased with it.
