One of the best producers I’ve ever worked with in games. She’s also an amazing partner ❤️ If you are after some secret knowledge to make games on time and under budget, she’s your gal.

After being locked out of my Twitter account (@robertasaliani) for years, giving this new platform a spin. ❤️

Not sure what on my LinkedIn popped me up as a “Financial Analyst” given I’ve spent the last decade in the games industry 😂 So much spam on linked in. It’s even worse since I put “Game AI” on there.

Optimist: The cup is half full Pessimist: The cup is half empty Programmer: The cup is a design defined amount of fullness, no, you can’t float in it without extra time in the sprint.

Pushing my daughter around town in a pram today and people opened doors for me, even offered me a seat in a cafe. I think that’s the first time it’s ever happened to me and it felt fantastic. 10/10 would walk baby again.

I've followed over a thousand people on here and my feed is filled with glorious game devs. Every time I open up the app there's something good to read or awesome artwork to look at.

Creating video games is hard, but working with publishers can be even harder. To help level the playing field, I've been working with with a law firm to develop a foundational "starting point" for solo developers to use when developing publishing contracts. It'll be free and uploaded next week 🙂

A lot of value in here, make sure you grab an extra hard drive while you are at it

For all aspiring and budding #gamedevs, there's a Humble super game asset bundle available that works for either Unreal, Unity and Godott featuring 7,000+ audio, visual, and environmental assets for less than 33$ www.humblebundle.com/software/sup...

Happy Monday everyone! What’s everyone up to this week? Share some photos if you can. I’m going to be juggling a newborn, getting a Christmas tree and working on a little 2D prototype in Unreal. It’s completely overkill to use UE, but I do love the engine and writing some tooling is a lot of fun

I wanted to do a side-by-side comparison of my #procedural animation to hand-authored animations on some models I bought. This is so I can better study what I need to improve. When I got my comparison tool running for the first time, this is what I was greeted with! Step-height glitch I think. 😅

What a ride! Give it a read, loved the whole thing

Hi BlueSky! I'm a veteran VR dev (Job Sim, Vacation Sim, Rick & Morty VR, etc.) working on my first indie VR game! Now that I'm quitting Twitter where I posted all my work, here's a thread summarizing the journey so far, for those who aren't familiar. 🐧🥽🧵👇 #gamedev #GodotEngine

This is Saint Bartholomew, the patron saint of tanners, plasterers, tailors, leatherworkers, bookbinders, farmers, housepainters, butchers, and glove makers (which seems pretty messed up given their end). I love the level of detail on this sculpture, it's easy to forget that this is marble.

The social media detox I’ve been in for the last couple of years has been amazing, I was spending way too much energy just “being online”, but I’ve really missed keeping up with other game devs. So I’m going to give this a shot again, I’ll probably take a while to respond to things but I’m here ❤️

What would you call the art style of Rimworld, the binding of Isaac or Cult of the lamb? I’ve been saying “vector art” but that feels way too generic. #gamedev
