Such an incredible speaker. It’s as if @defiance13.bsky.social was writing some of it.

President Trump just gave a speech about voter fraud. Someone has been committing voter fraud — and his name is Ken Paxton. He was just caught voting from the wrong address 6 elections in a row. If the President wants to investigate voter fraud, he should start with Ken Paxton.

I ordered a book from someone I used to follow. I have now received his book. It is barely more than a pamphlet of really obvious stuff. Valuable lesson. Don’t buy anything based on a social media page alone.

The total absence of entrance barriers to information dissemination and ease of amplification has created a void of reason and reflection, allowing predatory liars and opportunists to profit, agitate, and break the bonds that decent people collectively share without consequence.

The world is a dangerous complicated place. Whether we like it or not, we need a competent gov't for our lives and livelihoods. We benefit by the "elites" who may make things more complicated but at least have a clue as to what they are doing. The dipshits are the ones who say this is all easy.

The President of the United States said I insulted Jesus. You want to know what insults Jesus? Kicking the sick off their healthcare. Bombing schoolchildren in Iran. Deporting moms and babies. Covering up the Epstein files.

How again did former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson describe him?

WSJ: The likelihood of Iran closing the strait was discussed, Gen Caine predicted it, and Trump decided “Tehran would likely capitulate before closing the strait — and even if Iran tried, the U.S. military could handle it.” www.wsj.com/politics/nat...

When Hegseth says these rules of engagement are dumb and they fire all the senior JAG officers, atrocities follow. Entirely predictable. The question is do we as a country care? Or are we already scrolling to something else?

We can expect Trump’s desperation re midterms to intensify, ramping up fear. Snyder:“A purpose of the Iran war might be to provoke a terrorist attack inside the US.” We should be ready and keep in mind that his regime will not endure, as long as we stay engaged. open.substack.com/pub/america/...

I was honored to attend the homegoing service of one of my heroes: Rev. Jesse Jackson. As a pastor, he preached unity and love. As a candidate, he built a multi-racial working-class coalition. Thank you to the Jackson Family for inviting me to celebrate his incredible life.

How is China not the big winner in Trump 2.0? Former U.S. allies, even Canada, wanting to do business with them. We are burning ourselves down in a nonsensical war, making Taiwan's defense weaker.

There are far more voters than ICE agents. People should plan to stay at their polling place all day. Make it a party. Meet your neighbors. Talk politics. Gather food trucks. Make it a safe place for voters who are nervous. ICE agents always back off when they are outnumbered.

For a reader like me, this was a long haul but worth every minute. It's a no-stones-left-unturned expose into Jeffrey Epstein's sordid life that removes any doubt over his depravities. Leland Nally did a commendable job putting it together. How it didn't get more play I'll never understand.
