@nicollewallace.bsky.social miss. Like the importance of velocity of money to a growing economy, how immigration is a proxy to facilitate the population needed to grow the economy and on the ability for Democrats to implement a carrot and stick approach to El Salvador to reverse participation
@nicollewallace.bsky.social I love your show and believe you are the best at what you do. Always interesting subject matter to consider. One thing you may want to consider is the potential for Adam Kinzinger in running for President. Tim Miller has him on today and he hit on many areas that Dems

We live in a moment of great urgency and opportunity for Dems. But our nominal leaders aren't up to the challenge. Time for them to step aside or be moved aside so those who are actually leading can help save the country by seizing the moment. Waiting for Trump to self-destruct is not a strategy.
•People want change •People want someone who actually holds Republicans accountable •People want a fighter when the fight gets tough •People want someone who listens to us, not just lobbyists and consultants •People want someone who shows up—and means it •People want a leader who isn’t Chuck Schumer

Fire and brimstone from the fourth circuit 🔥
NEW: Fourth Circuit shoots down the Trump administration’s efforts to appeal Judge Xinis’s order requiring it to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. “We shall not micromanage the efforts of a fine district judge attempting to implement the Supreme Court’s recent decision.”

I tried to post a substack article listing media publications that did a good job of fact-checking and investigative journalism. Facebook blocked my post saying it didn't meet community standards. How could a list of fact-checked media publications violate community standards?

Many Americans say the same thing: It’s not that bad yet. We’ll wait until someone makes the first move then join in. I’m too old. I have to work. I have school. I’m sick. I’m too young. I don’t want to get in trouble. I’m sure our government will sort it out any day now. Someone else will do it./

Are we a nation of cowards? Are we spoiled by generations when we didn’t have to fight in a war? When it was a choice? Are we too comfortable OR too conformed? Are we already indoctrinated to believe so much in our government that we don’t get involved and think they’ll solve it for us? /

Don’t worry; the inflation may wind up being moderated by a massive recession caused by tariffs and random government spending cuts and uncertainty caused by domestic and international turmoil
Tariffs+tax cuts+lowering interest rates = higher prices for consumers, better known as inflation. If you thought it was bad from the Covid inflation, you ain't seen nothing yet, because this one is self-inflicted by fools.
