This is the interview Trump’s FCC doesn’t want you to see. We’re not just going up against the most corrupt politician in Texas. We’re going up against this entire corrupt system.

I think I can say categorically: there is not a single prominent right-wing media figure, including many that regularly campaign with & for Republican candidates, who has not said worse things than the worst thing Hasan Piker has ever said on at least a weekly basis. Why does no one care?

It would be fun if Democrats commissioned an architect to come up with a proposal to modify the ballroom to scale it down and turn it back into useful office space. Release renderings and cost analysis. Just act like they will ignore the red tape and just do in 2029, like Trump did to build it.

Showing up and taking the 5th is not contemptuous, it’s a constitutional right. NOT showing up at all like Jim Jordan didn’t when he was subpoenaed? THAT is contempt.

Surprised politicians aren’t connecting so much corruption (waste, fraud, & abuse) with our taxpayer dollars Platitudes about groceries & gas costing more, yes, but make an argument for the $$$ we send the IRS We’re directly paying for our downfall

President Obama: “We pulled it off without firing a missile. We got 97% of their enriched uranium out. There’s no dispute that it worked and we didn’t have to kill a whole bunch of people or shut down the Strait of Hormuz.”

“In this country, we have no ‘other people.’ We are American people, all of us.” This 1940s film warning against bigotry and fascism is more relevant now than ever.

I’m not the first to say it, but I’ve said it over and over: The long term goal of the GOP for decades has been to dismantle and delegitimize the U.S. government so they can resegregate their states, strip women’s rights and privatize and profit from what’s left of America.

The fact is that the most correct observation anyone can make about US politics over the previous decade is that voting for Hillary Clinton would have fixed literally everything you’re currently suffering from, and you only think this isn’t the case because of misogyny

I remain amazed that otherwise smart and caring people in health care, schools, even law firms, do not understand this. Conceding to trump has always been the surest way to be attacked again.

Red states didn’t wait. The second SCOTUS butchered the Voting Rights Act, they went all in. Louisiana: Roughly one-third Black, and now they’re pushing maps that could leave the state with zero Black representation in Congress. The solution: Blue states need to match the urgency.

Dan Walden reposted

Should Democrats respond to today’s Supreme Court decision by redistricting Republican seats in blue states? Hell yeah!

Now I fully believe they committed to sabotaging Biden fully and completely. I cancelled NYT and Wapo in October of 2024, but... what they did to Biden, and they won't take a massive headline on Trump sleeping in the oval? It's not bad journalism. It's committed corruption.

Once again: if you are attending tomorrow's White House Correspondents Dinner and you are not planning to actively protest the presence of Trump and his henchmen and yet you claim to be a journalist and a patriotic American... You are neither a journalist nor an American. STAND FOR SOMETHING

When the topic turns to "what comes next" and "what should we do," we should defer to historians in the same way we defer to doctors on vaccines, lawyers on criminal defense and military generals on strategy and tactics. They're going to tell us stuff like this and it's vital to America's future.

Gonna spend the next two years spamming every elected Dem about the concept of "damnatio memoriae." Chisel his name off every inscription. Build over the various Trump Towers like they're Nero's Golden House. Remove him from physical memory, not to forget but as a sign of disrespect to the man.

The seven-member body, whose ranks are composed of Trump appointees, was expected to approve the arch. The proposed monument strongly resembles Paris' Arc de Triomphe, but almost 100 feet taller. n.pr/3O5czfK

Hillary Clinton was right about everything. Kamala Harris was right about everything. Both would’ve been incredible Presidents and I remain proud AF to have cast my vote for them.

This isn’t journalism. This is creative writing by fascist sycophants.

The New York Times deleted Trump’s “open the fuckin’ strait” line to make him look less insane Their write-up falsely says his post says only “Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!!” and “Praise be to Allah”

Finally had enough and cancelled the subscription to the @nytimes.com I have maintained since arriving in New York in 1978. The Iranian responses to trumps post of threats and vulgarity provide more accurate news of the day than the NYT treating it like just another POTUS statement. NYT = cowards

There is no excuse for downplaying or eliding the insanity of Trump’s morning post. It is the most unhinged public comment by a president in US history and should be reported and remarked upon as such.

This should be broadcast, streamed, and read aloud by Democrats between now and the Second Coming. Trump says all federal programs—Medicare and Medicaid by name, Social Security by implication—must go. It’s astounding. It’s political poison. Make Republicans drink it.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "The US can't take of daycare. That has to be up to a state. We're fighting wars. Medicaid, Medicare -- they can do it on a state basis. We have to take care of one thing: military protection. But all these little scams that have taken place, you have to let states take care of them."

Russia is helping Iran find and kill American service members, and Donald Trump has repeatedly refused to condemn Putin. In fact, he’s been as lovey-dovey as ever with Putin the past two weeks. Trump works for Putin. Trump is a traitor to America.
