Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

Utter crackpot. No actual historical training, and real academic historians (even quite conservative ones) pretty uniformly regard him as a charlatan. But he’s become VERY popular with right-wing politicians for spinning a revisionist (and imaginary) version of US history they find appealing.

David Barton is a fake historian who wrote a book on Thomas Jefferson that was so inaccurate his publisher was forced to pull it from the shelves. Now Barton, and his son Tim, are advising Trump on his anti-Smithsonian crusade.

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days. ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

Look, he's not even pretending at this point. He DOES NOT CARE if you can't afford anything or get by because of his war. And this war wasn't even about the threat of Iran having nuclear weapons because there was NO imminent threat.

For comparison, the JCPOA ('Iran Deal') payment that everyone in MAGA excoriates was $1.7bn. The $2m-per-ship toll regime on the Strait would generate at normal traffic something like $40bn *each year* for Iran (120 ships per day at $2m per split 50/50 with Oman).

Not only does Cuba routinely get struck by hurricanes but they are leagues better at preparing for hurricanes than anyone else in the region, a tendency that would undoubtedly become worse with the US, and especially Trump's FEMA, in charge

They won't be asking us for money for hurricanes every week. I do believe I'll have the honor of taking Cuba."

The bottom line is Trump sacrificed 8 American lives (& counting) and more than 1,000 Iranian lives (& counting) for nothing. He hurt the US & global economies, destabilized the Middle East, & will pull out with the same Iranian regime in power. There's no silver lining. A senseless, criminal waste
