I'm replaying X-men Origins Wolverine. I havent played the new Insomniac title yet. I'm still amazed how much they seem to have lifted from Ravens work. Even the objective trail is a recreation of the originals feral senses.

Absolutely shocked at the passing of Benjamin Satterley (PAC). It's jarring how someone can be here one moment and gone the next. Hugely talented performer and I've heard a great person as well. Hope his friends and family can find some measure of comfort in this difficult time. #AEW #RIP

Coyote Vs Acme is a lot of fun. I am absolutely amazed that they shelved this movie and still released Space Jam 2. Movie producers are really stupid people.

Finished Plagues Tale Resonance. I liked it. Keeps up the quality of the previous chapters throughout. After playing all three games back to back I can definitively say that there doesn't need to be a fourth one. If there it'll probably be good but the trilogy is good enough on its own.

In the second chapter of #Theplaguestale Resonance. It's good. Different from Requiem. More action based. Not like Uncharted as some reviews mentioned, still feels like its part of the series. A progression more than an evolution. PC performance is way better, way less stutters.

Yayyy! I’m a proud backer of this. Can’t wait to play.

#Rezero Goddamn it, why gotta make me cry like that?

This not only in reference to the Odyssey but also a note to writers everywhere. If you're writing stories set before the 20 century don't use the words mom, dad or modern slang. Use mother, father and use slang more indicative of the time. It's becoming more and more common and I don't like it.

haha the world getting hotter, these old comics were CRAZY haha

First impression of Lanterns is it's fine. Not blow away, not earth shattering, just fine. It would be more fun to have a space faring adventure full of intrigue and action. But so far the premise is done well. The question is whether the quality of the pilot persists or falters.

Sovereign Tower is an amazing bit of writing that everyone should experience. As someone who grew up with choose your own adventure books, this one is right up my alley.

France has had 3 historic heatwaves in a row this year. Unless humanity rapidly cuts emissions then this all-time hot year will be one of the coolest of our lives. Graph is a visual production of data from glacial scientist Dr. Shaun Marcott, 2013.

Farage calling a man in a bin costume the establishment candidate pretty much sums up his worldview. Grievance politics built on manufactured crisis. People are tired of it, they need change, they need hope. #clacton

I saw a video today about Samsungs profit loss in their mobile division due to chip shortages. This is happening while they're experiencing a 19 fold profit increase in their AI chip making division. I swear corporations need an enema to remove the shit they're spewing on a daily basis.

#BrandNewDay is good. Not the best. It's a movie connecting the past and future. Lots of Raimi influences. Some of the CGI is iffy but generally everything from the story to the visuals gel well. It's good to have a Spiderman story that's street level and not world ending.

The promise of New York City is inscribed on the Statue of Liberty: this place would welcome anyone seeking refuge or a better life.

Brand New Day has a showing at an Odeon near me in the evening but I haven't slept all night. Will a 2 hour nap be enough?
