🤑 We pay. You pay. Palantir doesn’t. A new report finds that #Palantir is paying little to no corporate tax in Europe while expanding its influence over public services, policing, defence and national security. 💲 Public money in. Almost no tax out. Read the report: www.epsu.org/article/pala...

Last time I checked, they had contracts with the governments in at least 6 European countries. There are probably more. And this report tells that on top of all of that they don't even pay taxes! It was never a good time to sign a contract with Palantir. It's a good time to get rid of them now.

Great to see the EU's Digital Markets Act in action 👏. But let's be honest, the fine is pocket change and the behavioural remedies are nice to haves but hardly groundbreaking. To put the fine in context, Alphabet just disclosed its going to spank *$205bn* on AI this year alone.

Under Trump, the United States has made it clear that dependence on US tech can and will be weaponized. In part, that's a new development — at least for some countries. But ensuring the power of the US was sustained by getting other parts of the world to adopt its tech was always part of the plan.
