Out of curiosity (genuine, sincere), what do YOU think would make a TTRPG Actual Play “cinematic”? I mean very, very specifically, how that is different from other AP, what choices/elements would be involved, etc. (You can give examples, but you probably don’t want to for this one)

Come meet @thistlethecomic.bsky.social author @digitalcollins.bsky.social at the Kamloops Collectables Market today only at the North Shore Community Centre. Purchase a signed copy of Issue One and Two and get some stickers and pins for your swag!

While I was at the convention this weekend I had some people expressing interest in Big Hype. Would comic creators be interested if I opened submissions again?

Ayesha will be playing Mae (she/her), a Piney Oath of Vengeance Paladin with ties to Thistle, and will join the party as we hunt down the usurper lightning god, Eigeansea! Join us Monday nights at 8pm PST on Twitch to get to know Mae 🍂

We are so DEEPLY excited to welcome the fantastically talented Ayesha Daoud as our new Main Campaign cast member for the remainder of Campaign Two! Ayesha (she/they) is an actor, improvisor, and creative human who has been playing ttrpgs for the last decade. They're also a part of Fool's Guild!

Going to put together a Star Wars D6 RPG Starter Pack for players, GMs, fans and creators. lemme know if you want to be included. pewpewpew!

Without saying your age, what is your favorite movie that came out when you were 20 years old?

Film you've watched more than six times with a gif. Hard mode: no Star Trek, Star Wars, LOTR, Marvel, Frank Miller's The Spirit, Disney, or Ghibli.

And one more just because. #art #artist #artwork #comics #makecomics #werewolf #moonlightsayonara

Since we're promoting Canadian work, look no further! Thoughtfully slow, optimistic, weirdo, slice-of-life scifi with a rural feel! 4 stand alone books, all feeding a larger narrative! Collaborative work between two brothers! Serialized, low-stakes comics for discerning readers! award winning!

Hi! I write and draw a weirdo, slice of life, low-stakes scifi series with my brother called HΩME. Cool people have said nice things about them! Stand-alone books, feeding a larger narrative. Long-form, serialized scifi for discerning readers. 4 books available now! Link in my profile for more!

Oh hi Canadian comic fans! Given *waves arms frantically* now would be a pretty good time to support two Canadian comic creators telling an original Canadian story. The Acts of Louis Debraz, Voyageur follows the exploits of a man tacking down the devil. Based on Canadian folk tales! Back below⬇️

Congratulations to 🇨🇦 comic book creator @lifethenecropolis.bsky.social for his continued success on Life The Necropolis. If you're going to be Penti-Con in October Nick I'll make sure to connect with you and talk comics!

Local news talking about me (and my dog) making my new comic! Thanks @castanetkamloops.net !! www.castanetkamloops.net/news/Kamloop...

Now THAT is the best possible compliment I could ever hope for. That’s what I strive for with every page.

Privileged this weekend to play D&D with @sweeetanj.bsky.social and learn from their many experiences as a performer and artist. Em Carlson from @blackwaterdnd.bsky.social also let me bend her ear for a few minutes demonstrating she is just as lovely and generous with her time in-person as online.

Pure joy. Hey @schiekapedia.bsky.social, just had a reader who bought both issues yesterday come bsck today to tell me he read them last night and loved them. He loved the pages where the action told the story without needless dialogue. He said he'd pause and re-read his favourite pages.

Day 1 of @kelownacomicon.bsky.social in the books. Sold some comics, played D&D on stage with the Dungeon Dudes, Anjali Bhimani and Ty Olsson. Even gave a young TTRPG'er advice on being a Dungeon Master. Not bad for this Canadian kid. Looking forward to meeting more comic book fans tomorrow.
