I'm shocked and disappointed that you chose to play the video of the recent fatal tiger attack in the UK. This shows a lack of respect for a grieving family who have asked people to stop sharing the clip. I've been a loyal listener for some time, but I won't be listening again.

Yeah, block me for pointing put you're posting misinformation about autism. That'll solve the problem. 🙄

Not here to speculate on this man, but just want to point out that many autistic people are perfectly capable of going out on their own.

I'm so tired of the trend of people making images of text, then failing to make them accessible by adding alt text. I've asked people so many times to use alt text, I finally made my own sign (which I post with alt text). I should have included gifs in this.

Today is World Day Against the Death Penalty. Let us seek to end this inhumane and immoral practice around the world, especially here in America. It is so deplorable that in the 21st century this is going on in a modern democracy.

Hey folks. In total honesty my tour is NOT selling well. I’ve sold 30 tickets in a 400 seater in Birmingham, and not much more elsewhere. If you like musical comedy, if you like standup, then please come see my show! And spread the word! The Rachel Parris Songbook tour starts in Nov! Link in bio! 🎶

You can see the genocide from space. Yet still it is widely denied.

Google is updating its satellite images of Gaza. The comprehensiveness of effort required to reduce an urban landscape to this is beyond imagining. Literal carpet bombing.

Nigella is great as the new #GBBO judge. But #SecondHelpings is very disappointing - no audience bakes or chat, no viewers photos of baking disasters and no silly games, and (most importantly) no Jo Brand? Very boring.

After the recent spate of attacks on disabled people in the media, I wanted to write this week’s Press Access newsletter on how we might fight back. Includes anecdotes about how many British columnists I’ve insulted in print (amongst other things). frances336.substack.com/p/how-to-cla...

#LongCovid hasn’t gone away. People have just become much less visible - stopped working - stopped going out - had to change their lives completely - no longer being counted in the same way. Lack of testing has ramifications. Burying the statistics matters. Less visible doesn’t mean less affected

The whole thread is essential reading, but for me it's this final point that cannot be stressed enough. 'Support' is not support when it just makes you more ill.

Another day, another dismissive article. If journalists are reusing the same old tired arguments to marginalise women with disabilities and pour doubt and scorn on them, we are going to reuse the same letters.

This is an incredible, beautiful documentary. If you haven't watched it already then please stop whatever you're doing and watch it now. If you have already seen it then please stop whatever you're doing and watch it again.
