Farage was back in Parliament for less than a day before breaking its rules again, filming on the roof of Westminster without permission. He’s under investigation, his party is under investigation, and even Farage Fest is under investigation. A man who won’t follow the rules wants to write our laws.

It’s Lake Ontario

Boo!-per Lund@cooperlund.online

The Lake America thing really drives home that the fundamental divide in this country isn’t left or right, it’s who sees the world and acts like an adult, and who wants to still be a child, throwing tantrums when they don’t get their way. It just happens to map well onto a partisan axis these days.

I just knew we'd get this bollocks. Farage - like the Telegraph- doesn't want progress or anything to improve he just wants Britain to sit in a miserable slump in which he can holler constantly about "migrants" and drink pints in slow motion videos with people who pine for WW2.

As a Yorkshireman, I'm naturally tight but I gladly pay tax to support recipients of PIP and thank God I don't need it. Reform types love money more than the wellbeing of others. Plastic Christians.

We currently spend about £123bn on benefits for working age people, so our proposed saving of £50bn would be a massive cut of 40%. In my Clacton constituency about 47% of working age people are not employed, so my plan is to decimate the income of nearly half of my constituents.

Our exciting new announcement is that we want to cut benefits for disabled people! This will help to fund our plan to slash capital gains tax on crypto assets from 24% to 10%, benefitting crypto billionaires like Christopher Harborne, who coincidentally gave me £5m.

I wonder what people expect a PM to do to prevent fires breaking out in the middle of the driest period in living memory. One of the great challenges facing politicians these days is the totally unrealistic expectations and the demand for immediate solutions.

If Nigel Farage loses Clacton to a refuse receptacle his career ends. A vote for Count Binface is a vote to end Trumpism in the UK.

Just think of how sick, twisted and demented you have to be to post this as president knowing it is all a lie because you don’t want to admit you hired an unqualified pool guy - the act of typing this knowing that every word is false.

I don’t want to jinx anything - and I presume the ‘party’ constitution makes it very difficult - but it surely can’t be long before Farage faces some sort of leadership challenge…

Reform UK are up to their neck in scandal. Serious new information has come to light, opening up yet more questions about donations made by George Cottrell and his associates. Frankly, it stinks. I've written to the Electoral Commission to draw it to their attention.

The shamelessness of a political party which is led by a man who just weeks ago called for "pure cold rage" on the streets, shortly before migrants were literally burnt out of their homes, now accusing their opponents of "stochastic terrorism" against them, is quite something

Paul Davies reposted

Let's take this bit at a time. The editor of The Spectator, defender of the working class, and protector against immigrants is privately educated former Tory minister Baron Gove of Torry, formerly in relationships with an American, another American, and then a woman raised in Rome. 1/

I have thoroughly enjoyed the World Cup. I have loved cheering for the US team. Then that fucker intervened. Yes, the red card was excessive, but I would rather lose because of it than win because Imbecile called FIFA. The joy is gone. Now we’re the bad guys. He destroys everything.

Here I am in happier times with best buds Nathan Gill, now in jail for taking Russian bribes and George Cottrell, who went to prison for fraud then paid for my staff, security and social media and let me stay in his house near Buckingham Palace.

Well done to New Zealand who win by 160 runs & take the series. This match could have been different but for the hubris. I hope lessons have been learned from yesterday’s events & we can get back to playing proper Test cricket. Maybe with a complete change of management as well as captain. #ENGvNZ

In my recent interviews I boasted about having claimed "zero personal expenses". Which is not surprising when you consider that there is no such thing as 'personal expenses' for MPs, so nobody has claimed any. But I have claimed over £150k in office expenses.

🙄🙄 They hounded him over a curry They hounded him over a pair of glasses They hounded him over a suit They hounded him over using a quiet flat to let his son revise They hounded him if he went abroad They hounded him if he stayed in the UK Meanwhile Farage pockets £gazillions, lies, incites riots..

Keir Starmer has changed our party and our country for the better. He brought Labour back from electoral oblivion, has restored our reputation abroad, stabilised the economy and will lift half a million children out of poverty. We owe Keir a huge debt of gratitude.

In those days there was no social media, no 24/7 news, and no political journalists treating politics like a soap opera.

We need a contest, for the Leadersip and PM role, given we are where we are, not a coronation but a battle of ideas, issue based, not personal, thats best for the country. What do the candidates stand for, they should set that out. I have some ideas to chip in....:)

Where is the evidence that Starmer would lose a vote amongst the membership? Most of the membership voted for him to be leader. I haven’t changed my mind. I find Burnham to be arrogant, disloyal and fickle.

Voting for Brexit or Boris Johnson did not, in the great scheme of things, demand support for anything truly toxic. Voting for Farage, by contrast, absolutely & obviously does. This is why the people who brought you the first two disasters are working so hard to detoxify him, in two main ways… 1/2

Paul Davies reposted

People saying "surely they won't vote for him now?" miss the point of far right radicalisation: the point is to transgress - doesn't matter what they say - they're breaking the rules of decency to shatter our civil society 1/2 ...

I dont loathe Andy Burnham. I just don’t think he’s PM material. His track record clearly demonstrates that. I don’t like how he’s behaved But he’s been good in Manchester. I quite like some of his ideas (Land Tax). Get him back as an MP. Effect change from within. Never PM.

I’m Welsh so don’t care about the England team, but the omission of MGW while including Jordan Henderson and Mainoo is mystifying. I hope Morgan has a great summer break with his family and comes back ready to show Tuchel that he made a big mistake. #nffc

New Reform councillors off to a great start by refusing to vote on anything because they haven't a clue what anything means, how anything works or what the fuck they are doing. Vote Reform, get lazy, incompetent, ignorant morons.
