Republican Rep. Andy Harris incorrectly told a reporter they were breaking the law as the reporter and others recorded an exchange with him last night. Harris had just wrapped up a debate with Democratic challenger Dan Schwartz.

Chicago's OG Tamale Guy is a staple of the music and bar scene, often saving the evenings with nothing more than a small cooler full of tamales.

As a wanderer, runner and a cyclist, and someone who just spent four years driving across N.America, you could substitute "Malibu" and "Pacific Coast" for practically any city/town on this continent bc too many people do not understand Newton's Three Laws, and (statistically speaking) don't care.

I just tried to get a COVID booster. The pharmacy said it would cost almost $300 without insurance. The pharmacist was shocked. I got the impression nobody without insurance had come through (yet). Shaking their head, the pharmacist asked, "Want me to cancel it?" "Yeah," I said with a sigh.

The unspoken point here is that members of Congress are arguing they're above laws their constituents are expected to follow - the same constituents who can be harassed or murdered by law enforcement officials (who are similarly immune from prosecution).

The President of the United States declares he is “banning” journalists from CNN, MSNOW and POLITICO from the White House. Adding that more media outlets will be banned as well.

I once again made less than $10k last year, haven't had health insurance for more than 20 years, and spent the last four years living in my truck watching outlets use my photos for pennies on the dollar. I can't afford it, and I still don't have a paywall.
