The Green Party is clear on what real change looks like: • Proportional representation • Taxing billionaire wealth • No new oil and gas • Public ownership of water • Rent controls • Ending arms sales to Israel

Labour exists to protect the status quo. They want clear signals that Burnham won't bring in wealth taxes, water nationalisation or stop the UK arming Israel. We need to keep building our movement and provide hope with a plan for a different politics. Join.greenparty.org.uk

When reality surpasses fiction! Top: fictional forecast for August 2050, broadcast by French TV in 2014 to warn about the consequences of global warming. Bottom: Real French forecast for yesterday, June 22, 2026.

If you're a white person and you think the Birtish state is waging war on white people, I have news for you. It isn't. It's waging war on working class people. It always has. But not just working class people, anyone who It considers a threat or a useful scapegoat.

GB News now controls the news agenda in the same way that The Sun used to until a few years ago. It's not what's true - it's what sells. While serious journalists point this out the rest will simply keep leaping on the bandwagon.

The way the entire British media is suddenly discussing 'two tier policing' as if it is a real thing worth seriously debating, rather than the obvious far-right white supremacist fantasy it has always been, is very alarming

I've noticed that most of the stories about left wing candidates and their supposed awful social media histories are around RE-posts not original posts. Make sure you read what you repost properly before reposting. And if you are vetting don't just search key words. It won't pick these things up.

Nigel Farage wants to take the country out of the European Convention on Human Rights The ECHR protects us all - It grants our right to protest, our right to privacy, our right to fair trials and so much more. Whatever you do on May 7 JUST DON’T VOTE REFORM

Peter Stefanovic@peterstefanovic.bsky.social

THE EUROPEAN CONVENTION ON HUMAN RIGHTS IS A SAFETY NET THAT PROTECTS US ALL - NO MATTER WHO IS IN POWER WE MUST DEFEND IT! Planned reforms to how it works could lead to a slow erosion of our rights. Is that what we want? @libertyhq.bsky.social youtu.be/Fhrb5Z7ScME?...

Reform UK are refusing to explain why Nigel Farage posed for a "Christmas drink" with far-right activists, some of whom took part in a violent attack at a church. One of the men pictured with Farage was convicted of assault by beating last month, after storming an anti-racism meeting at the church

bylinetimes.comReform UK Refuses to Explain Why Nigel Farage Met and Posed with Man Criminally Convicted for Violent Attack on Anti-Racism Meeting at a ChurchFor a year-and-a-half, Byline Times has attempted to get to the bottom of a photograph showing the party’s leader with far-right activists. Now, this newspaper's findings cast fresh doubts on Farage’s...

Everything #Reform do is to help the ultra-wealthy - they don't care about ordinary people. You can see this in everything they say. In this example: #Grenfell is tragic "but everyone dies in the end", so we shouldn't let improved safety stand in the way of house builders profits

The Labour government object to us talking about Gaza. Genocide is serious and they should hang their heads in shame for arming it, not complaining to journalists. Not surprised they're distracting from their other failures - like addressing the cost of energy bills and rent.

Final weekend. One last push. This is about whether you want local plumber Hannah Spencer or the extreme Reform candidate. It's hope vs hate. It's Greens vs Reform. Hope can win.

Drug deaths have risen every year for 13 years. That’s 13 years of a failed “war on drugs”. Labour should be looking at legalisation, control and regulation - not playing politics with people’s lives. This is a public health crisis. Treat it like one. Not a game.

You’d never hear calls to ‘vote tactically’ or to ‘keep someone out’ again. But they refuse to change, so we *must* vote for parties that will introduce PR. A vote for a party that supports FPTP is a vote for future Reform government (2/2)

Parties exist to gain political power. Don’t be surprised they contest elections. I often hear ‘the Greens are splitting the vote!’, but that’s the political system *Labour have chosen*. Labour could end the threat of a Reform government right now if they adopt PR. (1/2)

Stonegate, Britain's largest pub company and a holding of private equity firm TDR Capital, carries over $4 billion in debt from its 2019 leveraged acquisition of Ei Group. Private equity backed and overseas-owned companies now control roughly a quarter to a third of all British pubs.

This is what leaving the EU means - being so scared that Trump might make (already terrible) trade deals we’ve got with the US even worse that we dare not criticise him. In today’s world you are either part of a large block of countries or you do what those blocks tell you.
