If you go up to the box office and say "one adult for the movie where the whale eats a guy, please" they have to give it to you. There's no law that says you have to say Whalefall or whatever it's called.

It isn't even October 11th yet, the ICU lung collapse anniversary, and I'm already a mess. I was fighting with my stepdad to allow the doctors to save her life. I get this out of body experience like I'm still there sometimes. I have a very good support system btw, honestly key to survival.

We probably shouldn't have gotten married exactly one year after all this was happening. Cos I'm torn between remembering one of the worst days of my life, and the best. Early October... I'm either living in the ICU of Huntington hospital or literally getting married. It's memory roulette.

If a few years ago you collected photos of a deceased loved one for their memorial, your smart devices, being as smart as they are, will without warning bombard you with those photos around their death anniversary, playing upbeat music and screaming REMEMBER THIS? TASTY TREAT TIME! WOW WHAT A DAY

I know this is rather uncouth, but if you read this and it resonated with you, please repost it. I want more people to know about this condition and to know that someone can be literally one step away from suicide and you can have no idea.

For years I was suffering from a debilitating condition called Sleep Related Painful Erections. I may look happy in this picture, but I was in living hell. Content warning: I get into graphic medical detail, and discuss suicidal thoughts. (Reposted with better header) medium.com/@jameseldred...

Starting my Halloween viewings a little early with a snuff movie: THESIS (1996). A character in this collects gore mixtapes and wears a sick BLACK ROSES shirt, so I will be watching Black Roses shortly as well.

I had been feeling much better but this last week the anxiety of everything is fucking me up real bad and I am clueless on how to alleviate it. It's that "everyone is mad at me" kind of anxiety. R u mad at me

I loved the results last time, I want to do it again! Putting together a zine about E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Would love to include drawings throughout. If you would like to contribute.. Draw E.T. from memory right now. Don't look. Just draw him. Any quality. Send me a picture and I'll print it.

I'm 75% of the way through this book and just more and more convinced it's AI generated with each page. I'm morbidly curious and also, like, know your enemy, so I'll probably finish it but it is heinous and I'm taking a couple lessons away from it.

This is the first time I've been reading something and had this like, deep feeling that something was real fucking off about it. So I don't think we need to be THAT suspicious of every single new thing being AI. Have your guard up, but it's wrong to be like "reject everything produced after 2022"

And only take random small press recs from trusted sources or scope out the publisher or author. I'm pretty sure an algorithm put this book on my radar. And there's tons of excellent small press publishers out there who wouldn't have touched this shit, support them.

We just watched a couple get engaged at Gordon Ramsay Burger in the Planet Hollywood casino of Las Vegas and two seconds later a crew of EMTs came in with a stretcher to wheel out an old woman at the next table. I'm obsessed with Vegas.

I've played 2 so far.. I do plan to complete all the Higurashi games one day and then play through Umineko. I've been slowly working my way through them for years now (they are 100% reading). And I'm already a few chapters deep in Danganronpa 2

I'd personally rather never see myself, cos I feel perfectly fine and then I see myself in a photo or video and am like "holy shit do I really look like that? Do I really move through the world looking like that?"
