We watched Chicago last night, and so I looked it up afterward and discovered it was based on a play from the 1920s. Before the musical, there was a silent movie (1927) and another movie with Ginger Rogers (1942). I'm rather curious about them, particularly the silent movie.

The president is refusing to spend taxpayer money assisting Americans suffering from natural disasters solely because their states didn't vote for him. I know there are a thousand scandals at the moment, but this one deserves some more oxygen at every level.
