The US Dennis the Menace debuted on this day in 1951. The crazy coincidence is that another classic cartoon character debuted on exactly the very same day. That’s right - KPop Demon Hunters.

We used to have a form of this, called the dole, which paid for the UK's cultural dominance in art, music, the stage, comics and literature throughout the 70s and 80s. It allowed actual working class people (gasp!) to participate in a way that's impossible now. Shame people can't joint these dots.
