In this stroller, there is now nothing but a bloody pulp. This is all that remains of the baby after today’s Russian shelling of a park in the Kharkiv region. #MadeByPutin #FinancedByTrump

🌙 Jupiter will vanish behind the moon on Oct. 6—and early risers can catch the show. 🔭 October also brings prime views of Saturn and a meteor shower courtesy of Halley’s Comet. ✨ Our guide to what to see in the night sky—and when to look 👇 www.capitalweather.com/octobers-sky...

Out of the last two days, the dog has shit in the basement… both days. Made him some chicken and rice with pumpkin, so everyone keep your fingers crossed b/c I think my husband is going to lose him mind if it happens again. (I’ll call the vet for advice in the morning)

Finally discovered The Residence on Netflix. Great show! Wondered why it was cancelled - DH said “apparently it was too expensive. Watching a few episodes makes must see that it must be. Do the next one somewhere cheaper and continue the series tho.

I haven’t been “ride a school bus age” since the Bronze Age but I am flummoxed how long it takes kids to get off the bus. These days, I would have to launch myself out a window to escape because them kids are sllooowww getting off the bus.

The seemingly carefree yet ardent nature of their posts has been charming and attention grabbing.

Ten years ago today, CPSC shared its first safety meme. What started as a single baby floating in a force field in outer space has become a universe with dozens of safety characters spanning hundreds of safety graphics sharing thousands of safety messages.

Trump ending the Medicare Part D subsidy program that millions of seniors to rely on is proof that he cares more about privatizing Medicare than he cares about seniors and families. Always money for war. Never money for health care. It's a grift and I'll be fighting back.

Tomorrow's combination of dangerous heat and unhealthy air is a serious threat to New Yorkers’ health. If you can, stay somewhere cool with air conditioning, limit time outdoors, drink plenty of water, and check on your neighbors — especially older New Yorkers and anyone with a health condition.

I’m sorry to that person but today’s New York Times cites a study with *SIXTY* participants. C’mon. I could do better by asking the people I know on social media the same question. (Does their sense of taste and smell diminish as they age.)

Some people are maybe rightfully saying that this movie reference is a little dated, but here's the thing, here's the deal - we're old now. We're on the internet, but we are old and we got to teach the youth because the 15-to-24 age group accounted for the largest share of firework injuries in 2025.

You've got to think about that famous scene from 'The Rock' (1996). Stanley Goodspeed is holding the "string of pearls" virus container that he's just removed from its housing. He looks Sean Connery dead in the eye and says, "The second you don't respect this, it kills you." That's the energy.

If you lose power due to flooding and own a portable generator, make sure you run it outdoors at least 20ft away from your home. A portable generator can produce enough carbon monoxide to kill in minutes.

Areas of very heavy rain the next few days will bring potential flash flooding along the western and central Gulf coast and into the deep south. Check your latest forecast at weather.gov
