I just picked up some Indian takeout. When I got to the restaurant, they had live music like they sometimes do, but it was an Asian man (Filipino, maybe?) playing bluegrass on a banjo. A Filipino man playing bluegrass at an Indian restaurant; this is the future Liberals want. ❤️

I think we’ve reached a boiling point when it comes to ICE. Today in Minneapolis, a militarized task force raided the beloved Lake Street taqueria, Las Cuatro Milpas—and the community was not having it. Agents from ICE, the DEA, FBI, ATF, IRS and HHS rolled up looking like they were ready for war.

Elon backtracked on DOGE savings goals from $1 trillion to $150 billion. But watchdogs report only $12.6 billion in verifiable savings. That represents just 0.173% of the U.S. federal budget for 2025. We're losing vital government services for basically nothing in return.

I've been thinking about this particular topic a lot. As Capt Gilbert said, "Evil, I think, is the lack of empathy," and I can't find a more accurate or succinct definition of evil than that. Everything Leon and Donald do is evil; there is not really any other way to describe it.

Even from a business standpoint, dismantling our national parks and using them for logging or drilling is such a stupid idea, because the tourism would be more lucrative. The only plausible explanation is that they just want to destroy everything good and beautiful about our country.

If you are a federal worker being offered a buyout, I would advise against taking it. Of course, this is a personal decision for everyone and it’s your choice. But these offers are a rush job. The legality is questionable and this admin does not keep to its word. They aren’t firing for a reason.

"The Rubicon" is used metaphorically to mean the point of no return. I think that we've already passed that point and we need to act immediately. Problem is that I don't know what the best actions are for me/us to take. The usual (protests, writing to representatives, etc.) haven't worked at all.
