After one (1) day of allowing public comment, the Library of Congress has caved and decided that Dear Leader can make whatever reality he wants. The official subject headings are now "America, Gulf of" and "McKinley, Mount (Alaska)." #Libraries

NOT OPTIONAL. Haskell Indian Nations University had to let go of about 50 staff, including instructors. Some students were left without teachers for classes in the middle of spring session. This is enraging.

The termination of 850 Indian Health Service physicians, nurses, and dentists will have a grave impact on access to care for millions of Native Americans. Upholding our treaty obligations is not optional.

We are holding interviews with Tribal Leaders and advocates to make Corral the best possible tool for Tribal Consultation. Eligible participants will be entered into a drawing for one of (2) $250 gift cards or donation to Native-led charity of your choice! Sign up: bit.ly/4hm7850

Today I found out that I have met the requirements for my graduate certificate in Native American Studies at UGA. The PhD milestone will be April, but wanted to celebrate because it means a great deal that I was afforded the opportunity. Thank you INAS! inas.uga.edu @universityofga.bsky.social

The presidential pardoning of turkeys is one of my favorites. It's one of those specific benchmarks lobbyists dream of - "big turkey" saw an opportunity and now its a beloved national tradition. Enjoy your retirement, you beautiful powerbrokers.

Nothing Indigenizes a government institution better than practicing ceremony during political process. In this case, its a haka on the parliament floor. Excellent response by the Māori MPs in NZ. Changing treaty interpretation after almost 200 years is nasty business: www.bbc.com/news/videos/...
