💯 AI disruption is also an opportunity to reimagine research! If we don't, big AI will do it for us and we won't like it (as OpenAI is demonstrating) It's great to see these experiments and we @cosmik.network really appreciate working on them with curious and creative researchers like Max!

Max Puelma Touzel@mptouzel.bsky.social

We tried a new concept for in-person AI research activity at a recent COLM workshop. If we want new research norms for the AI research era, we need to be actively playing around with them!

the last 48 hours was time consuming because a lot of stuff i/wisp rely on were downstream of many of the CVEs released recently, as well as bugs wisp itself had. if wisp is useful to you, donations are much appreciated and keep things smooth: ko-fi.com/waveringana github.com/sponsors/Wav...

I'm going to be hosting a session at TPAC next week in Dublin to have an open discussions on how browsers could help with atproto, activitypub, lws, indieweb, more specifically with identity! www.w3.org/events/meeti... I'd love to see you all represented there, remotely or in person!

@thisismissem.social @divy.zone and I recently went through an exploration of how the browser can help you login to websites with atproto accounts. We recently presented to the FedID CG and here is a sneak peek in case you couldn't join! This is early but we'd love your input before we go too far!

"the [attie] sites are not on your account. they don't talk to existing static site projects (tangled and mine, lichen, theres more)" I appreciate what @bsky.app is trying to do with @attie.ai but not building on your own protocol is just a hugely missed opportunity and needless community wedge.

wisp.place@wisp.place

blog.wisp.place/posts/integr... its been a while since ive ranted about things and i wanted to express thoughts on attie while announce two things that have been silently up for a while (why do i keep doing silent releases?) the small amounts of snark are from a place of love

agentic coding, loop engineering etc. (which I understand is a core part of the attie team's productivity thesis) is perfectly suited to keep pace with the perpetually shifting ground that is an emergent protocol layer. @happyview.dev is an excellent example of this protocol-product pace-parity.

I have friends who need exactly what @attie.ai makes possible as an 'atmospheric lovable', but I can't comfortably recommend it until attie can push a bundle of html, css, js and images direct to @wisp.place for publishing and @tangled.org for safekeeping, revisioning and collaboration.

we need more ways to 'find the others' on the social internet - the weirder the better, and Index (oss) is pretty out there. needs a 'Login with Atmosphere' button though; my intent is to be discoverable, not surveilled.

We’re launching index.network It’s been exciting to watch already. The first 200 people in are hiring founding engineers, raising seed rounds, writing speculative fiction. One said accepting an intro “feels like the early magic of the internet.” Try it for yourself: index.network/l/088436b1-b...

Okay frick it, I'm announcing the project I've been working on. It's called Reams, a markdown editor that syncs over atproto spaces. It works offline, doesn't require a login, and has a bunch of features packed in. Try it at reams.ink, install the PWA for the best experience!

just gonna say it: hope Cloudflare buys Bluesky as well. Check my archives if you think this is my go-to for how to do business. But bsky is VC already; the (future-adversary) deal doesn’t change. Both bsky and cf are engaged in a ‘let’s remake the internet’ project, kept in check by protocols.

Dead serious I think Atmosphere in a Box might be one of the best DevEX things I've ever created. Dropped it in to remove a railway dependency on one product already. Released 0.7.0 last night adding dynamic network allocation, wildcard domains, jwks secret generation, and stronger CI examples.

apropos of nothing, @emdashcms.com has native support for atproto, its plug-in marketplace is atproto-powered and any plugins that have been registered in time for EmDash v1.0 will get a lot of eyeballs on it. any atmospheric widget will do the trick. discourse.atmosphere.community/t/emdash-as-...

I'm going to be launching something pretty big next week, which just happens to include a new atproto AppView, labeler, blob proxy, lexicons. It will have tens of thousands of users, most of whom won't even know they're using atproto, or have even heard of it.
