Good god the silent hill 2 remake is fucking so nerve wracking. I’m in the jail where the spider mannequins drop down on you & zip back up & it’s literally impossible to kill them. So you try to flee and suffer their attacks but they (or the same one?) just skitter back down and pounce on you again.

Very rare for a game to do that, not since the Outlast games, so I fucking salute you Bloober team. Hate and love and am impressed by you and have decided that I’m actually a coward but still a masochist.

*okay not LITERALLY impossible to kill the spider mannequins but I’ve wasted too much ammo swinging around wildly in the dark to get a shot at them. They’re too fucking fast!!! Immensely frustrating and terrifying. I was beginning to feel nauseous and had to quit.

Been literally saving after the tiniest bit of progress because you can easily waste ammo and health and want to regroup and reevaluate your strategy. I decided to restart and run down a different corridor. It worked! But fuck man I had to quit after and hour because I was too freaked out.

This is actually hell, right?

Yessss this game was my jam. Specifically the multiplayer was a corner stone of sleepovers.

September 26 1997, Bomberman 64 debuted as Baku Bomberman on the N64 in Japan! Developer/Publisher Hudson Soft made the tough decision to scrap over 6 months of work on the initial version of the game and start fresh after seeing other 3D games/Atomic Bomberman PC already at market!
