We've made it a goal to plant 100 million trees in Wisconsin by the end of 2030, so it was great to join leaders in Oshkosh this week to plant trees by Lakeshore Park with the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Governors & Premiers and employees from Cummins, who donated the trees. 🌳🌲

WI Republicans are holding a hearing today on AB 163, which would (among other things) force individuals receiving Medicaid to have their eligibility redetermined every 6 months instead of annually - a practice that is currently illegal under federal law.

Thinking of re-making a hand knitted, white shawl, my ex-husband’s grandma made me, into a Christmas Tree skirt. We’ve been divorced 35 years, grandma is no longer with us and the pristine shawl is in the bottom of an attic trunk. 🙄

I just spoke to a customer who lives in Florida. I asked how they were doing. No damage from Helene, but did experience damage from Milton. He 100 percent believes: a) FEMA is out of money and it’s because administration gave it all away to immigrants b) folks in NC are only getting $750,

I was astonished by his conviction. No room for debate or facts. I had to tread a lightly because he is a customer of my employer. I don’t know how we’ll get these people back to reality.

c) weather is being controlled by current administration so we “buy” into their climate change agenda. When I started to dispute, he told me there is all kinds of evidence on you tube, with experiments being shot into clouds. He assured me he does his research before he makes any claims.
