We should create a timeline on exactly how long it takes communication apps to try and reinvent Reddit
we have an idea for communities in the app that we're calling "spaces" — places where people can gather around shared interests or social groups. here's a peek at some early prototypes. these are explorations, not polished or final. looking for feedback, esp from community builders 👀

I know this isn’t useful but it’s weird how “the president should be coherent” was a Very Important Thing just a few years ago and then suddenly wasn’t.
Trump: "I take an aspirin a day. I don't know if it works but psychologically I need it. It thins the hell out of your blood I guess ... They want me to go down to the 80. I take the 386. I don't know what the hell it is. It's a monster. They said, 'Sir, you don't need that!'"
Finally, a keyboard where I don’t have to move my hands youtu.be/DAn34l_YrUM?...
Reminds me of my favorite commercial. GMC obviously can’t advertise doing any task other than paying attention to the road for their self-driving feature so the most exciting thing they could come up with was doing the stomp-stomp-clap from We Will Rock You. youtu.be/VN8PV0fv340?...
i see arguments like this sometimes and ... what's the thing. what is this "everyday annoying task" that an AI could actually do and that you could trust it to not totally fuck up? i cannot imagine the things. and tech/robots have made a lot of tasks more efficient but there's always more shit
