An amazing image from Twin Peaks, Dune, and Fallout star Kyle MacLachlan's memoir "Fictional Selves" that just shows how awesome Patrick Stuart is.

Maybe I'm just 100% out of the loop on FPS games because I haven't regularly played any in over a decade--but I checked out Battlefield 6 on Game Pass and is this an FPS for crackheads? You just get constantly killed--average lifetime (for me) is like 2 minutes before I'm blasted.

I think the last straight up FPS (not Battle Royale or Extraction) I played for a bit was Cold War, and this is just total insanity in comparison.

The Kremlin intelligence psyop that has been poisoning American politics for decades is literally burning. Ukraine removed all the Russian bots on social media just in time for the US midterm election. Ukraine really is defending the entire free world! Thank you, Ukraine! 💛💙 x.com/youranoncent...

Finished Wolverine. Quite good. A high 8/10 action game. It’s sad how the discourse is to take a few out-of-context gameplay clips and destroy the whole game over it.

HELL HATH FROZEN OVER!

Wolverine is a decent action game. Maybe somewhere around a high 7 or low 8? It’s very simplistic and by the book but has a decent storyline and an easy to understand combat system. A lot of action games now have way over complicated melee combat.

Wolverine is so insanely gory it’s unintentionally hilarious. I just traumatized a van full of children iI’m rescuing by violently eviscerating a dozen people right in front of them while completely drenched in blood. And then everyone moves on like nothing happened.

Mr. Do’s Castle is perhaps better than the original—but the sound emulation on Hamster’s release is pretty bad.

Several weeks ago, Phil Tippett's legendary animation studio in Berkeley, CA closed. An anonymous hero noticed a folder of CDs. This turned out to be hundreds of unseen hi-res images and videos from Star Wars, Robocop, Jurassic Park, etc. ~90 isos for you to browse: archive.org/details/tipp...

I finally got kicked of the cool list and didn’t get a Meta Connect invite this year. Granted, I didn’t try very hard to get one.

Finally getting around to playing the Onimusha series in order to prepare for the new one. I never liked the games back in the day--finished the PS4 remaster of the original. A fun, tight little game. It is funny to think how cutting edge it was at the time. It's so simplistic now. Just started 2.
