i know a guy who does this one and gives you a wife for free

just got a steam controller today, my review (coming from an xbox one controller): - all default control schemes are not good enough. - i don't know how to hold it right yet. i like my middle fingers high up the back as counter-pressure for button presses, but the natural spot runs into the trigger.

- the extra rear buttons are nice, but if i need extra buttons for a game that detects controller vs keyboard, it seems likely to get messy since the buttons aren't really recognized without mapping to something else. - start and select are really high up. rear buttons are good replacements.

- i feel like there's enough weird stuff in here that i need a bespoke tutorial or game designed specifically for it, or i'm just gonna end up using it the way i used my xbox controller and having a bad time because it's not designed for that. steam sports resort please.

- i'm used to running around with the left thumbstick and "cheating" dpad inputs with my right thumb. with the dpad left of the left thumbstick, this is not possible here. i can set a touchpad to act like a dpad, but it's not as tactile and requires forethought.

lego horizon adventures should've been a 1-to-1 copy of horizon zero dawn gameplay but everything is lego, because the horizon games are already lego games shoot big robots that look like animals so you can knock off and repurpose their parts that's what lego do, even more than regular lego games

something i think we often forget about computers is that they can count, like, REALLY high like, name a number. *they can count to that.* probably DOUBLE that. actually mindbending technology

the number one thing we need to teach kids these days is how to take a little sippy of water with food to keep the food from getting all sad and dry in their mouth without drowning it in a flood of water

playing pseudoregalia got me thinking about how it and botw make you look at a sparse world as full of things to interact with, through fancy movement and climbing respectively, both heavily reliant on terrain and maybe that better defines my gripe with totk, that flight is largely world-agnostic

and other options that do interact with terrain don't allow for fine control, so you basically just make what you were gonna make and hope dealing with a hole in the road not by bouncing around its crevices but by building a massive wheel to ignore it

Someone asked me for the Armor Games intro I made back in 2008 and it made me curious if @ArmorGames still uses this... YES THEY DO! Anyway here it is in 4K (or whatever socials compress it to)

making an episodic story- and character-based game with everyone named bullshit like "two" or "at" to make social media unusable if you try to mute spoilers

if there's one thing i've learned over the past few months, it's to adjust my blanket from the inside because when i do it from the outside i inevitably lose my grip and slam my hand into the underside of my desk with full force

if when you meet someone, they say to you: "Sorry, I didn't get your name?" OR "Can I have your number?" TREAD CAREFULLY! they may be a member of the fae! be sure to: 1) keep a listen out for rhymes 2) gnaw gently on your flatware 3) only offer that with which you are willing to part
