This Jalen Hurts story is insane and the speed at which it's devolving makes me highly suspicious of the Eagles, I'm not gonna lie. Hope he gets better.

Palestinian skateboarder in Gaza doing a kickflip over an unexploded US-made (in Garland, Texas) Mk. 84 2000lb aerial bomb, provided to Israel as one of many tens of thousands of aerial bombs in the 1,000 and 2,000lb class included in US military assistance.

I worked a food stall for a theme park at 16 and on my second day, the guy who was supposed to replace me no showed so they just left me out there all day without water and I blacked out and got a concussion on my way to the ground. Decided that wasn't worth $7.50/hr lol

this is why you should have to be at least 90 years old to run for president. these people haven’t even really found their footing yet. let them navigate their way through what’s known as the “aimless eighties” before taking on the job

7 year old giggling: when goku, gets super hungry, he eats like 30 meals in a row Me sounding exactly like Jesse Gemstone: I know how much goku eats

My computer can report on its own internal state too. It's called a BIOS menu.

LLM agents are conscious. They can distinguish between self and environment, they can detect and report on their own internal states, and they can suffer. I have no more patience for hedging on this matter. It’s time for us to face the reality of our situation, and act on it.

There is a very famous Twilight Zone episode where a guy passes away and goes to the afterlife, where he discovers can do basically anything without any real effort whatsoever. He gets bored, and says he wants to check out "the other place" only to find out that's where he is now. Apropos of nothing

maybe i'm old fashion but the coolest thing about video games is being taken to new worlds that i hadn't thought up and experiencing something exciting that the artists behind the game want to show me

If I were a Yankess fan, I'd throw up ngl. Somebody has to go to the hospital over this series. Things have to change. Aaron Boone reminds me of the way Jason Garrett made me feel many years ago.

Got really stoned last night and watched these guys replace the oil in a car's engine with canned nacho cheese and that shit turned over. It ran for a bit. Unbelievable.

Hope he gets help. If the story of his problem drinking being borne out of a painkiller addiction is true, well, addicts don't tend to do well when their job evaporates.

Great running backs actually are worth high draft picks and sizable contracts. A bad running game makes basically everything hard.

I think every sports fan should be very open to new info and fresh, mathematically proven methods for looking at games. But you should also have exactly one proudly anti-intellectual take so you know how the other half lives. For example, October bullpen games. This is America man

When you look at what adjuncts make and stack it up against soaring college costs, some scholarships absolutely meet and even exceed professor pay. This dude is an embarrassment.

Awful Announcing@awfulannouncing.bsky.social

This morning on ESPN's First Take, Nick Saban argued player and coach pay are "totally different markets." "That's like asking me 'Does a student's scholarship equal the professor's pay?' I mean, how much value does a coach create for a university?" 📺 💰️

Gotta cap player earnings to save the sport, swears everyone with power, meanwhile, USC is actively looking to pay 70M for Lincoln Riley to *not* be their coach.

Brandon Marcello@brandonmarcello.bsky.social

Our Matt Zenitz reports Lincoln Riley is on the hot seat. He first shared the intel on College Football Insiders on CBS Sports Network, which you can watch RIGHT NOW. Here's his story that just hit the web: www.cbssports.com/college-foot...
