Photos!! I know the inner faces of the waves are also golden in the game, but it was easier for me to just use black felt to hide some imperfections and to protect the bauble/bottle from any possible chipping paint. There are scratches on the bauble but in a way it makes it more 'real' :)

Just look at this li’l guy. I love how the shape of the brush is obviously a stiff circle, like the basic brush in a paint program. (It was probably, basically, a stick, dipped repeatedly in watery slip.) It’s easy to imagine and perform the set of strokes to draw himb.
