What could change if more of us showed up? 👀 When only 40% of eligible voters participate in midterm elections, too many voices are missing from decisions that shape our lives. Our communities have power. Let’s use it. 🔥 Let’s show up for our families, our communities, and the future we deserve. 🗳️

Jane Fonda and I have a few things in common, including a commitment to protecting our planet. I will always keep fighting to protect what makes Oregon so special.

Christine Drazan’s plan is full of things my administration is already working on. She also voted against bipartisan bills I helped pass on the housing issues she now says she supports. That’s not being honest, and Oregonians deserve better.

As a former teacher, I never scrubbed in for a gender reassignment surgery, but I did instruct the kids on how to get the window screens off in case of an active shooter…

Bobby Pulido, running for Congress in Texas, is more than a quinceañera singer. The 53-year-old Tejano music legend is the Democratic nominee in a freshly gerrymandered swath of Texas. While the race to unseat his Republican opponent once seemed an uphill battle, polls now consider it a toss-up.

Good news.

For years, the website Abortion.org redirected users to anti-abortion information. But then, Rebecca Nall — the founder of I Need An A, an online directory of abortion providers — purchased the domain and now, for what is likely the first time, the website contains resources about abortion.

I am honored to have the endorsement of former State Senator Margaret Carter. Like she said, progress doesn't happen by accident. It takes us being willing to stand up, speak out, and fight for what's right – and that’s exactly what I will continue to do as your governor.

North Carolina volunteers are leading the way. 🔥 Through the Vote to the Rhythm GOTV Tour, volunteers have spent the past week connecting with voters, registering new voters, answering questions, and making sure communities have the information they need before Election Day.

8 days now, and Scott Colom can win in Mississippi.

Mississippi, there are only 9 days left until Election Day! If you haven’t made your voting plan, don’t delay and make one today at ScottColom.com/vote. We have to show up and show out on November 3rd! #MississippiMatters

I’m not a political journalist, so was gladly surprised at the community I found here last night. To Americans anxious about the upcoming elections, a key thing we learned in Brazil that might help you: DO NOT engage with the far-right online. Don’t share rage bait. Amplify your people. Ignore them.

I don't know that there is a definitive line to cross that makes you say, "I live in a police state now" but when masked gunmen can routinely brutalize the public, citizen or immigrant alike, with impunity, you have reached that point.

the number of “yes on 42, no on 40” ads I’m seeing here in LA is depressing remember: yes on the billionaire tax (40), no on the ones canceling the billionaire tax (41 and 42)

between serbia, brazil, and hopefully november 3, a good reminder: voting works it’s not the end, there’s always work to be done after the vote, but if you want to beat the motherfuckers and keep them out of power: vote your asses off

"Trans people are a tiny group with no power" This isn't true, and I hope my trans readers can internalize this. You are more powerful than you think. Trans and gender expansive people are 2.34% of the US population in the latest survey. That is more than enough to swing a race.

We should never stop calling out Trump’s hate. We should always name his racism, his misogyny, and his transphobia. Even if we sound like a broken record. Keep doing it. Silence is acceptance and we should refuse to accept this.

this is why we did a ton of polling on winning messages and what we found is that cracking down on corruption is really, really important for any cost-of-living argument because people straight up don't believe any of your promises if you don't show you're serious about accountability

Schooley@schooley.bsky.social

If Democrats actually win big because people want a check on Trump corruption I expect every move to do so will be covered in the corporate media as being risky to their 2028 position.

For-profit prisons for unaccompanied minors - during a time when ICE is separating children from their parents in the interior and mislabeling them unaccompanied. Think about where we’ve seen this before and under what conditions.
