We are putting up our inflatable Halloween decorations in the front yard. Last year a family at the end of the street would bring their 3? and 5? year olds to our house to gently hug their favorites good night. I'm sad because they have since moved and the inflatables will miss their hugs.

I can always tell when I'm distracted. It's little things, like just now when I had trouble putting on my sunglasses... because I was still wearing my regular glasses.

Last night we went to Moth Night at a nature sanctuary. We saw lots of cool moths, fireflies, cicadas, and handsome spiders. I could have done without a volunteer telling me that copperheads like to eat cicadas and that the snakes were "probably all over the place'. O.o #NationalMothWeek #moth
