Harvey Price time then. In 2016, I had an ill fated stint as the Social Media Producer on Loose Women on ITV. It was a disaster, I should never have applied for the job, I certainly shouldn’t have been given it. I could do the actual job standing on my head, but the politics of the place…woof.

I’ll tell it again. Bollocks to it. bsky.app/profile/itsj...

So I did a job with Ana and I got on with her very well. We were talking about Scissor Sisters playing at the Empire in Middlesbrough, which is known locally by old bastards as one of the all time greats, and I was very happy that the band saw it the same way too.

You know ‘Last One Laughing’? Are you mean to watch it and be hideously embarrassed by them pretending to hold in laughter at some of this lame shit? I just saw a clip of *famous name searcher* doing a bit and the orange juice in my stomach nearly curdled with the cringe of it all.

Whenever I see footage from the fifties, sixties or seventies, I think that they all look like they stink. Even The Beatles.

This dude. On BBLB, runners were told not to be alone with him. Not “don’t be a sexual predator, Russell”, no. “Runners, don’t be alone with him”.

Great punchline

Is this all this fucker does? Write both letters?

Former chief of defence staff Admiral Sir Tony Radakin tells @ldfreedman.bsky.social that Boris Johnson was so uncertain whether to back Ukraine just days before the full-scale invasion he asked for papers to be drawn up on supporting Ukraine or 'looking the other way.'

Considering the edit jobs that we’ve seen lately, this is frankly bizarre. No to t-shirts and badges, but yes to thumping the Trump drum in the Daily Mail? Come on.

The presenter of #r4today opines.

I’m fifty, and I was taught in metres and centimetres and feet and inches. Sometimes I understand pounds and ounces and other times I understand kilos. Why both is so terrible, God knows, but we have to fight some culture war.

Reform wants to return to imperial measures because... the metric system should have been abolished as a result of Brexit. Brexit will not be delivered in full unless grams and litres disappear or summat.

A month ago, Sir Jim Ratcliffe lectured the Prime Minister, telling him he should run Britain in the same way he runs Manchester United

I have trapped the stray cat in again. He’s scared, but it’s better to be scared and protected and warm than scared and unsafe and freezing.

I’m not a fan of Bournemouth at all, and I think the ‘plucky lovely little Bournemouth’ narrative is bollocks, for the most part, BUT it is amazing that a club that nearly died in living memory has beaten AC Milan and is about to win at Old Trafford within four days.

I have zero energy today. None. I have let the stray cat out and then went back to sleep on the couch. One thing about long covid is you never know how anything you pick up is going to affect you. I’ve had this non covid virus for about ten days and although I’m not in pain anymore, I cannot move.

Why watch Kuensserg? You know what she is and what her agenda is and on top of everything else, she’s just bad. A bad faith interviewer who toadies and grins at those she likes and plays sixth form journalism with those she doesn’t. See also Chris Mason. It’s desperate what’s happened to BBC News.

Being fair, if I understood it correctly, there was quite a kick at the end of that film.

I’m watching ‘The Family Way’. I do like a sixties film where not much happens.

there's a Maine Coon kitten named Erebus Anomaly. he's in Wisconsin. he recently received recognition for having more toes than any other documented living cat. 29 toes. that's an awful lot of toes. like, wtf. i'm over here expected to make do with 10 toes, like some kind of schmuck.

The latest trick of the Reach/Trinity Mirror websites is to have a premium option and a regular option and include a glitch with makes the website think that every story is a premium story.

Blimey. That’s quite the thing.

The Simpsons looks to be leaving Sky One permanently as of November. I wrote about it briefly here: wesleymead.wordpress.com/2026/10/24/r... @cwickham.bsky.social

You mean the Met Police received some information years ago about a proper wrong un and failed to act on it, and then the wrong un went on to commit more crimes? Not the Met! I won’t believe it! I mean, this is exactly what happened to me, but they wouldn’t do it twice!
