On Memorial Day, we remember the sacrifices that our men and women in uniform and their families have made to preserve our freedom. May we always strive to honor the strength and resolve they’ve shown our country.

If you push for term limits- you should be prepared to explain how to address the time and funding disadvantage minority and women candidates face. We already have term limits. They’re called elections. You don’t show up for those either. Carry on…

On Memorial Day, we honor the brave service members who have made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our nation. We owe these heroes and their loved ones everything, and we will always remember what they have done to protect our freedom.

George Floyd was murdered 5 years ago. He should still be alive and with his family today. I’m still fighting to pass the George Floyd Justice in Policing Act to create more accountability and trust in law enforcement. George Floyd’s life mattered.

I’ll miss Charlie Rangel, a beloved icon and public servant of New York. He was a proud veteran who loved serving his Harlem constituents. He urged me to run for the Senate and later was an invaluable colleague. Rest in peace and power, my friend.
